I just heard that Cassel is out for 10 weeks with a broken leg.
He was taken out of the game with a leg injury, but no official word yet on whether he's out that long. If he is, then it's ironic that they gave him all that guaranteed money, only for him to not see the field for the majority of this season.

And that's why I passed on him. I had a feeling something like that would've happened. They put all their eggs in one basket by giving an unproven commodity so much money. His one season doesn't count as experience, since that still doesn't make up for how little action he's actually seen in his entire football career.

They should've just stuck with what they had in Tyler Thigpen and developed him instead. Thigpen wasn't so bad, he just couldn't come through in the clutch with how little talent he has around him.

Cassel out 10 weeks? If true, wow! Tyler Thigpen and Brodie Croyle get another chance perhaps...

Thigpen was rumored to be on the trading block. I guess that's not going to happen now. IMO Thigpen better than Croyle.

I guess week one is going to be an easy win for us.

Pretty hilarious that Carolina needs to keep it's starters in to score on our second string defense. Whatever makes you feel better about yourselves Carolina...3 consecutive holding penalties against second string defenses. Nice job!

I was also thinking Bowe. With Cassell in there I had Bowe's stock go up. I like Bowe, week in and week out, he puts up consistent numbers.

Good goaline stop.

I love Kruger. When we drafted him , I wasn't too sure. But watching him play, his size. He impresses me immensely.
