What Is Your Setup For Watching The Ravens Games?

60 posts in this topic

Mainly starting this to brag about my latest addition in the house :)

In the basement we added a 96 inch in ceiling motorized screen, with an Optoma 1080P HD/DLP projector, BluRay and 7.1 Polk surround sound.

We have a purple felted pool table and 3 jeresys in glass cases with etched ravens logo on the glass as well.

What's everyone else watching the Ravens games on this year?

If this should be moved, please do so.

Family room, fireplace in the middle with ravens flag hanging above it, some plastic ravens on a mantle, a 48 inch old school tv. Nothing too special, but I like it nonetheless.

Great, I think a certain male appendage of mine just lost a couple inches in comparison :(

My setup is a 54" plasma 1080p w/HDTV, 7.1 Harmon Kardon surround, and a cooler full of ice and beer next to the couch :)

I only got it a couple months ago, but I've got a 32" Vizio LCD HDTV in 1080p and...that's really it. It's in my bedroom (which is small in itself, since I still live at home while I'm in school) and I've got SOME Ravens memorabilia lying around, but not that much that's prominent.

Just a Ravens flag hanging on a wall, a Ravens team calendar, a Ravens cheerleader calendar, two Ravens caps that I never wear hanging, my ticket stub to the 2008 season opener tacked to a wall, and some Ravens jerseys, hoodies, and jackets hanging in my closet.

I don't have a purple shrine unlike a lot of you people who have entire basements or rooms devoted to the team. My best friend has a Phillies shrine in a spare bedroom at his parents' house that's got me wanting to do something similar to a room in our basement...

I've decided, whenever I get married, I'm making a written agreement with my wife that the basement area will become a game room that's basically a Ravens shrine. No ifs, ands, or buts. Even if it means sleeping on the couch forever. I'll gladly just sleep in the game room instead. -_-

It's a lot easier said than done. Your best bet is to find a hardcore Ravens girl. Any "normal" woman, will be like a brick wall.

We gotta have a Pic. That setup sounds sweet.

I'm at the bar everyweek watching my Ravens with about 10 of my friends who all hate the Ravens for the most part

Also the bar I go to has about 15 Regular Steeler fans so it's always a blast to mess with them..

During the AFC championship game right before that flacco interception I was doing MEGA bragging in front of the Steeler fans cause something was telling me we were gonna come down and score..I went over to there section of the bar and did the Ray Lewis dance in front of them...they were PISSED

of course they ripped me apart after the interception but they were scared

Damn straight!

Right now I had to move back in with the rents cause Im having trouble finding a job. But last year at my apartment, we had a kegerator in the tv room which was very, very clutch.

When I do get a steady job and get a house, the basement is going to be dedicated to Ravens, O's, Capitals, and Wizards. I will make a deal with my wife that she can do whatever she wants with the house as long as the basement is mine!

Ah, the tap is sweet! I actually thought about that myself, but it's too tough to decide between Guiness and Heineken every week, so the cooler gives me flexibility. Plus there's something about drinking beer from a bottle that just does it for me on the holiest day of the week....Football Sunday!!

Exactly. And I know a lot of the married individuals here might roll their eyes when I say this, but I literally don't care what she'd want to do with the rest of the house. She could paint the walls some random color like DARK BROWN or PINK for all I care. (And chances are, she might do that just to test me.) But so long as I can do whatever I want with the basement, I DON'T CARE.

We have a 50" Plasma on the wall with a bird's-eye view of M&T Bank Stadium next to it... and, of course, a large couch. I'm still at home, but once I move out you better believe my basement will become a Ravens room.

HAHAHAhahaha! That sucks. I was talking all sorts of ish during the second regular season game and the Steelers fans in the bar found a tv that was broadcasting 2 seconds faster than mine and they'd freak out in joy before I knew what happened. It was horrible watching Joe get ready to throw a pass or something and they'd all be celebrating and I knew something bad was about to happen.

Oh. I watch at a back television at a bar because Ravens get no love.

50 inch Toshiba Plasma 1080i, Onkyo Surrond Sound amplituner Polk audio towers and center channel and 12" powered subwoofer. I think I'm going to upgrade next year too a 65" though, the prices are coming waaay down. Heck my screen was 2800 bucks, now I can get a 65" for about 3g's.

but right now just slide on the flacco jersey for first half, ray lewis for second half.Watch on my 42" sony lcd(if it's recorded on a sony shouldn't you watch on a sony).Dependinbg on whether my kids are there depends on my beverage.(2 and 3 so i don't drink around them).Fire up the grill(on the patio in front of a window that has an excellent view for the tv.
Half the time i'm standing yelling, cheering, argh!!!!ing.but all in fun.my gaol is the the game room to be done next season.

I have a house with my fiancee. And the basement is mine, but she hasn't given me 100% of the rights to turn it into a tacky shrine. I did paint it Ravens purple. This year she is buying me Directv Sunday Ticket. Got the PS3 down here hooked up to my 1080p HDTV. My computer's down here.

It's easy to say that this is where I spend most of my time. It's really comfortable.
