BR.com reports that our starters will play upwards of 3 quarters for Saturday nights game in Carolina. Looks as if we will be able to see our team for a long while!

Starters usually do. Game 3 of pre-season is the dress rehearsal for the regular season.

Yup, I browse one of their message boards and they are the most reasonable fan base I have come across.

I can't wait for the game, I'll probably be driving back home that evening, but thank goodness for Sirius.

Thanks to Kia Kaha for the sig!

From what Harbs has said , we're probally not going to have a a game-plan becuase of the game being so practically immediate from our last.

Despite the starters playing for three quarters, don't expect this to be a preview of the regular season. A lot of plays will still be held back, but there will likely be some experimentation done. Conversely, the offense could play more conservative and settle for field goals more often in order to settle this kicking competition. The only risks we might see are more deep balls thrown just to test Flacco's arm, and more passes out of the backfield to see how defenses adjust.
Meanwhile, the defense will likely experiment with coverages and see how much man coverage the secondary is comfortable with, and how shallow zones hold up with only a three-or four-man rush.
In other words, the team will do whatever comes to mind and make adjustments on the fly.

This will be good to see, hopefully no major lapses like in the Jets game. This will be a nice test for us against a strong running game, and against a premier pass-rusher in Julius Peppers.
GO RAVENS!!!
