San Diego and New England are tough teams, and if memory serves correctly, we lost to both teams the last time we faced them. That coupled with the fact that they are two of the most winning teams in the NFL in the past few years makes them formidable opponents in my book.
Now here's a question: why did this need a separate thread?

By design we are a cold weather team. Great Defense, Great Running Game.
Unless you have a QB who isn't use to cold weather, than it would be issue. But Flacco at Deleware & Pitt has had plenty of that. Guys like Kurt Warner are the guys who struggle.

As for the Chargers, there biggest threat against us is:
Darren Sproles. If we shut this guy down we win the game, I am not saying the Great Ladanian Tomlinson is out of his prime but the Ravens have trouble tackling the smaller, swifter backs. Chargers don't really have great recievers, Hell I will even say we have better recievers, and their biggest recieiving threat is Gates.
Onto the Patriots!
Same thing about the Colts, that O-line doesn't look good and if you watch Brady he doesnt look the same. I am not talking about googling his preseason stats I am talking about actually watching him play. It is like he forgot all the fundamentals of football or that injury is still nagging him. Look at his stance when he throws the ball and you will see what I am referring to.
So basically Ravens Rule (nice name, they do rule!) I think we have the talent to beat anyone in the NFL but it all comes down to the fact that Any Given Sunday the best team who executes will win. So if we don't execute or make foolish plays, we will lose games.

Yup, any given Sunday. The last couple years San Diego has gotten off to terrible starts. We might be lucky by getting them in week 2.

The chargers might be hard to beat, Rivers threw 30+ tds last year and only 11 interceptions and LT might have a comeback year. They also have a top 10 defense with Sean Merriman.
The Pats are an all-around good NFL team. They have a strong defense, pass game, and a possible run game with the aging Fred Taylor.
All are strong opponents, but the Ravens are strong too, with a revitalized offense and their usual defense.

Two words,
Peyton Manning.
However, for some odd reason I think this is the season we will get our first win against the Colts.

Season prediction: 12-4

It really doesn't matter who thinks what. What will be, will be.
To clarify: It doesn't matter because pundits, experts and fans will all attempt to predict the outcome of games, winners of divisions, conferences and even the Super Bowl. Most people will be considered gurus if they get 50% of their predictions right. The Ravens will win some, and maybe, against all hope, lose some too. worrying won't make anything better or worse, except maybe an ulcer.

Pats, and Colts as losses.

Writing Brady off on limited preseason action is a big and highly unadvised call. He'll always be a huge threat.
GO RAVENS!!!
