On that note, I see Oher doing a good job of containting Peppers but as a unit, it will be tough to keep that front 4 of carolina contained all around. If I see it happen, I'll be excited since clearly they learned from the Jets game to this one.

Peppers will make his plays, especially early. Oher will learn much from this as a result.
I am more concerned about the Ravens secondary. Delhomme picked them apart last time (2007 I think).

The Ravens didn't give up that pressure on Flacco because of talent or experience. The Ravens gave up those pressures, because they didn't game plan for the Jets blitz packages.
Some of those blitzes were the RBs responsibility. However when you don't gameplan for it, you just run the plays you wanna work on. Cam was getting backs out in the routes, so they couldn't provide pass pro. In real games that would have happened.
After that first drive the Jets defensive was pretty much ineffective. They only got to Joe twice, once was Oher getting beat and the other was Joe holding the ball. So I think the oline is good.

Offensively in the first game, we focused on the run and short pass game. In game 2 we focused on passing and getting the ball down field.
I hope the Ravens can have a much more balanced attack this time around.
The starting offense has had 5 drives total this preseason. They have gotten into scoring position in 4 of them and Flacco missed a wide open Rice on the 5th.
So this offense has been playing extermely well, however we have to do a better job of scoring TDs.
The defense has been pretty good as well and shows signs of being dominate. However we haven't really faced a offensive that could test our secondary. Hopefully Carolina can do that, because you wanna see these guys tested before SD in week 2.
As for Oher Vs Peppers, I think it is a great matchup for him. Oher got beat with a couple of speed moves last game and it will be interesting to see how he improves.
Peppers will also test his strength. It might sound strange but I hope he actually gives up a sack or some pressure. The reason being is because I wanna see how he responds when things don't go so well.
Just like I mentioned before about the secondary. You wanna see this guy tested before the regular season and especially before week 2.

However Next week will be a true test for the defense in my eyes with Ryan, White, Gonzales and Turner. That thursday night game I will be zoned in on the defense

The starters will probably play just one series in the ATL game. So I don't know how much their passing attack will test us.

Well Harbs has said the started will play for 3 quarters. But I'm sure if they come out strong looking good, they'll probably come out at half time.
As for Peppers, it doesn't what side he lines up on. Then Panthers move him around to creative matchup problems. So I'm sure both Gaither and Oher will see time working agianst Peppers.
Their entire front 4 is good, so I wanna see how well Birk, Grubbs, Chester and Yanda perform on the inside. It'll be nice to see some good running lanes.
