What exactly is the point of this? Bettis has been gone, why game plan for someone who is retired. The Steelers have not ran worth a crap against us in a LOOONG time. Our only problem is letting Ben do the damn Waltz around our rushers, allowing the CB coverage to crumble.

What year are you speaking of as it helps to analyze what players made the team special that year.

You are right on the money. The Steelers have scored so many key touchdowns because Ben got away from a rusher, and the receivers got open.

I interpretted the oringinal post as "we got beat on the ground by the Jets, is there something we can learn from the past when we were able to stop an elite RB". Maybe folks should not be so quick to jump down someone's throat over a post and simply ask "What did you mean by that?"

Or maybe a complete thought shoould have been carried out in the initial post, explaning what he was talking about. Sure, the yardage picked up in the Jets game upset me..Alas, it was just PRESEASON though. Besides, we have one of the best run stopping defenses in the league.
