When Ray retires Suggs takes over, Reed is more of an enforcer than outright King Leonidas.

I am not by any extend overly knowledgeable about foot ball or what goes on in the locker room. However I do follow two simple concepts. 1. Those with the most opinions, know the least. 2. Professional talk on the field. Rex was great as a defensive coach; he still needs to prove himself as a head coach. As a supervisor in my trade I know the hardest job is the boss you are responsible and accountable for everything, and the victories generally go to your subordinates why you absorbing the defeat.

If you rely on two defensive touchdowns to get in OT situation you will live in disappointment. The win means nothing we you don't care enough to go to OT.

You're really grasping at straws, man. You basically say anything to degrade both Harbaugh and Flacco, for no reason. They WIN.

Look back at the Jets game and compare the pocket of the Ravens and the Jets. I don't think the difference is the Oline or Dline personnel but coordination.

Give Flacco or Smith that same pocket they would have looked like Drew Brees. Clemens had a well developed pocket, fortunately our secondary had great coverage.

Compare Ray Rice to Leon Washington's penetration. Leon 6 YPC/ Rice 4.1 YPC I don't think it is because Washington's running ability is greater than Rice's.

Actually, you are probably not very far off about that first part. We didnt gameplan the Jets. Which means, our coachs were just out there calling plays. They had no strategy or anything. Just calling plays to see how players respond.

The Jets clearly game planned for us. That was obvious with the playcalling and the way they handled Sanchez. If they were just trying to evaluate their QB's, they would have thrown the ball alot more with Sanchez, regardless of how much he struggled. Yet their first play of the game was a run and they really only let him throw in certain situations.

The Ravens won the pre-season game but the Jets won what counted. Jets proved organization on both Offense (minus QB errors) and Defense.

Our starters were up 21-7 at half. Had the starters stayed in we would have blown the starters of the Jets out and it would have been worse if we had actually game planned for them. So, the Ravens proved they are the better team, PERIOD.

Sneaky Scott?

What do you guys think? Is he just saving his **&#@$$ or did the media flip his words around? Also, L.J. is really pissing me off with these injuries, he can't seem to get through a single play without tweaking something. I mean, does this guy stretch before games at all or what??

Thought I should note the above article is by Mike Preston.

Exactly it does not matter if you win by 1 or 100 at the end of the day its about who got the L and who got the W.

I can accept what he said. Even if he is just trying to save his butt, it means he realizes that he shouldn't have said that, so I'm okay with that. But I can also believe that he didn't mean it the way some of us took it. I do believe that he was trying to support Rex more than make any of the other Ravens staff look bad, so I can easily change the "more than" to "not".

Bottom line, I'm glad he came back and tried to clarify or backtrack to clean things up.
