The BaltimoreRavens.com text messaging service is a great service for fans. It has breaking news, inactives, injuries, etc... sent right to your phone.

Who would have this service? Ravens fans of course! And what do Ravens fans do during Ravens games? They watch the game! Duh!

This is my suggestion: [u]don't send us a half time score[/u][/b]. Some of us pay extra for each individual text message and I would hate to stop the BaltimoreRavens.com service just because of unnecessary text messages.

I wasn't sure where to voice my opinion (and that's all it is), but I thought the official BaltimoreRavens.com forum would be appropriate.

Standard text messaging rates apply, but otherwise, yes, it's free.

I see what you're saying about trying to avoid as many charges as possible, but generally, people without unlimited texting should always be wary of such text alerts anyway. That's why they warn you about standard messaging rates applying.

True, however I don't have unlimited text messaging and I see no point what so ever in us receiving scores on a game we would be watching anyways.

Just got another half time score from BaltimoreRavens.com (in case I wouldn't know what it is). Unfortunately, I had to cancel the service.
