Worth every dollar, he's an elite QB and a proven winner.

Oh Yeah I believe so. Just he can't get the Chargers over the hump. I would agree with the proven winner part except when 8-8 wins your division it is questionable. I will say he has the playoff wins to his credit but certainly think The Chargers should have paid him less instead of something similar to Eli Manning and Ben. At least Ben and Eli earned the $100 million dollars by winning Super Bowls.

For the Chargers: one big contract down, many to go..

Exactly. It would be interesting to see if they give Darren Sproles a long term deal with LT at 30. Also just like us, they also have their recieving core hitting the market. The Chargers have some offensive lineman possibly hitting the Free Agency. Right Now I am looking at 2 Chargers in particular if they hit the Free Agency:

Shawne Merriman LB: Would like to see him here if we get an uncapped season.

Vincent Jackson WR: This is someone who I would love to see here. He is young(26) he knows the Cam Cameron offensive system and he would gel with Joe IMO.

Just Glad to see they got Rivers locked down, I couldn't imagine what would have happened if Rivers would have led this team to a 10 game or higher win season and took them deep into the playoffs what Phillip would have commanded in the open Market.
