I'll defintely be watching Kelley Washington a lot. Also interested on watching Kruger after Rex Ryan's comments. Was interested in Fein's performance too but I don't know if coaches will let him play or not. I ll also being watching Carr to see if he is worth keeping or not, wasnt impressed by his Redskins performance.

I honestly am going to be watching for Flacco to get some passes for TD's so these "Troy Smith should be the starter" threads will die off.

Looking for Oher to punish the opposing line again, Kruger to chalk up another sack or two, and Washington to get amped up. GO RAVENS!!!!

Yeah, getting sick of those aswell. Flacco will look sharp tonight, no doubt in my mind!

QB - Looking to see how flacco handles the blitz, with Revis possibly out he can attack the secondary as New York has the blitzing front 7 but doesnt have the secondary that can cover. I have a feeling Flacco will just attack Dwight Lowry and Jim leonhard. I expect a big game from Flacco tonight, i also expect Smith to light it up again and make his trade value even higher for the end of the season

HB - Ray Rice and Willis mcGahee should both get about 10 carries each and i expect both to take advantage. fighting for the starting spot they will both play well IMO, i think McGahee plays better than rice as New York is blitz happy and a big defense so Mcgahee style fits better as he can pick up the blitz better and is the bigger stronger back

WR - Im so excited to see Harper tonight. Last week he was so hot and cold and i really want him to step up this week. He is a massive target and im excited to see him play. Also Kelly Washington, that guy was great last week and could be one of the most under rated FA signings IMO, also keen to see if D-will can stretch the feild

TE - I hope the coaches give Edgar Jones 3 quarters to show everyone how good he can be. I expect him to do very well as he will be against Leonhard or David Harris, both not know for there coverage ability. Jones is a freak of nature and im excited to see him

Line - Last week they seemed a bit confused at times, with Cousins now more experienced i expect the line to play much better, Grubbs will be in there aswell as Yanda so they will do a good job. I want too watch Cousins, Yanda and Grubbs closley (anyone else think Grubbs is a top 5 guard in this league??)

D-line - Ngata wil beast for a few series then im excited to watch Talavou. With Divens on IR now it seems asthough Talavou just has to play well to make the roster an i expect him too. He is a huge unit and i read he trained well all week in practise and was impossible to move. Hopefully Ngata and Talavou play next to one an another in a 4-3 set just to show how dominant they could be together. Im really excited about Talavou

Linebackers - Gooden was okay last week, not spectacular, didnt make plays, just finished them if you get what i mean. Also pumped to see Jameel a lot more this week aswell as Barnes to see if he can step it up one more gear. Hopefully Barnes and McClain practised wraping up the QB in practise as they had a combined 4 sacks slip through there hands last week.

secondary - unless carr plays well i think he gets cut. Webb is dangerous on returns and we have a ton of return guys behind him. Carr cant cover to save his life it seems, so ill be watching him closely. Ill also watch Foxwrth, last week he was terrible and got picked on, he better step it up if he wants to stay on this team past this year. Fabs is a lockdown corner and webb is devloping so Foxy better step it up or he might be out the door soon

The guys im excited to see most tonight

RB- Willis McGahee
WR - Justin Harper
TE - Edgar Jones
T - Oneil Cousins
NT - Kelly Talavou
OLB - Antwan Barnes
CB - Domonique Foxworth

I have fairly open expectations; the battle between Rice and McGahee should be good. I think Flacco will be sharp also. For me, preseason is mostly about observing the rookies and borderline players - seeing who puts there hand up the most and seizes the opportunities given to them. I wish all the players all the best and hope this is a productive, injury-free game (touch wood!).

Well i think you summed it up pretty well. I am also pretty interested in FB seeing how they will use Mcclain in that role, how well he is doing. Plus i want to see Jason Cook play in case they ever want to use his as the FB and Mcclain as the HB. TE- I want to see how they use Heap and Smith together and with that how Flacco will use the middle of field. K (yes i am watching the Kickers) Gano or Hauschka?

Also i will be watching the secondary and LB close as we are extremely deep at both and we are going to eventually have to part with some very good players.

Wanna see Willis get the ball more. I really want to see the results of how hard he has worked and if last game wasn't just a one time thing. And obviously I want to see the receivers and Flacco. Should be a fun game.

I'm looking forward to seeing Kruger answer Rex Ryans comments without saying a word. Also, I'll have my eye on Michael Oher, Ray Rice and the cornerbacks.

I am also interested to see how Bart Scott plays without Ray and Sizzle and everyone else. I wish Bart all the luck in the world for a great future, but I do think the Jets overpaid him...

Things I'll be watching:

- See if the D-line can create more pressure on the QB, last week I wasn't too impressed with that from the first string guys.

- Watch for the screen passes and see if the blocking can be consistent, I think with a blitz heavy attack from the Jets we can exploit them with swing passes aswell.

- Close eye on Kruger, he should light up Sanchez tonight. Rex will remember this Rookie!

- Special teams return blocking was mediocre at best last year, I look to see who can step up and be s ST stand out

- Zibby and Nakamura should be lighting guys up, let's see what happens.

- Can Sanchez do ANYTHING against our Defense? How many pics will he throw?

- Cam will be in attack mode tonight on the deep ball.

The don't think the staters are as important tonite. I think overall we are a better team then the Jets and it will show. Minus all the hype and national attention, this game will be pretty plain and simple for the 1s.

I see the oline playing the whole first half, but Flacco will only play the first quarter. 2 impressive TD drives by Flacco will be enough.

I want to see the young guys on this team. Last week we show great depth and I look for it to continue.

All I wanna see from the 1s is Cam open things up a bit. I wanna see Gano kick well.

I wanna see Hale continue to play well at Center.

Martin and KJ at Safety. I think both Nakamura and Martin are great for that Dime package 3 safety set.

I wanna see McKinney and Talovu(sp) at the DT

I want to see Van Der Steeg and Will Johnson.

I want Barnes and McClain to continue bring the heat off the edge.

What I would also like to see is the Baltimore Ravens fan show the nation why we are the greatest fans. When they put Rex up on the video board, everyone stand and applaude that man for all he has done for this organization.

Once a Raven always a Raven. So for the start of the game let's cheer him for what he did as a Raven. Then after the Kickoff we can boo him for being a Jet.

I want to see some of our 3rd & 4th stringers for WR step up and show us something. Besides that and preventing injuries, I think our boys will be just fine.

And that's crazy that people are calling for Troy Smith to start over Flacco. You kddin me?!? haha

I want to see our first team defense terroize rookie QB Sanchez. I believe he is getting the nod to start. Against the 2nd String Rams he looked good, wait a minute, 2nd string Rams?!? So I'm looking for our first team D to have a good day.

As for the first team offense, it is what it is. I'm looking for the young guys. Krueger especially to see his bull rushing ability. I also want to see Harper have a big game (no drops). And perhaps have D Will catch a TD pass right in front of me.

Other than that. NO IR INJURIES! PLEASE FOOTBALL HIGHER POWER!

Hopefully we blitz Sanchez like crazy. I believe a couple of his lineman are out today. Give him a taste of the NFL. Unlike the Rams who suck.

You think the starters play more everygame? And the first preseason game they played until the beginning of the second quarter. Harbaugh said they will play about the same about as they did last game. And I bet they will play about the same about this game and next game. And on the last game they will play 2 drives and players like Lewis and Reed won't even play is my guess.

I'm not sure if the starters will play at all in game 4. Game 3 is really where they get a lot of playing time. Game 4 should be to rest guys and let the "fridge" guys prove themselves.

Your right the 3rd game is where they play the most. 4th is mostly rest. I've updated my cheat sheet.

Offense:

OL/TE- The Jets are going to give a bunch of different looks, hopefully, so I want to see how well our young guys up front do recognizing whats coming and knowing their assignment. I also want to see how much our TE's have to block to make up for the OL's short comings.

QB- I want to see the same for Flacco.

WR's- Justin Harper has to play better then he did. Stats wise he did ok vs. the Skins but he dropped way to many catchable balls. It was the first preseason game so, he gets a pass for now but he's got to do better.

I want to see D. Williams, if he plays, and the rest of our wideouts leave the field healthy.

Defense:
Nakamura- He's one of my favorite players. I always enjoy watching him play.
Barnes and McClain- We had some trouble getting to the QB last year, these are two of the guys that need to step up if thats going to change this year.

ST:
The kicking competition.

Yamon Figurs- He's got to be better as a returner and improve as a gunner. With Smith's injury, he's got the chance to step up at wr to. He needs to show something in all 3 spots, if he wants to make the team.
