District 9 And Inglorious ****s

Both great movies, District 9 is pretty original and unpredictable and B@sterds is your classic Tarantino.

G.I Joe was kinda terrible, unless you like some cheese with your wine.

I watched Inglourious B@sterds last Saturday, thought it was excellent! Tarantinos best film since Pulp Fiction IMO.

Haven't had the chance to see District 9 yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Have no intentions of seeing G.I Joe!! Ok, maybe when it's on the TV one day and I'm EXTREMELY bored!! :P

With all the big hype with Terminator, GI Joe, Transformers, etc. It's nice to see movies like District 9 & Inglorious ****s. While the hyped movies all suck. With their over filtration of CGI and bottomless plots. District 9 & Inglorious ****s bring life to the summer movies.

I have not seen either of them, but look forward to watching one this weekend. I hear great things from the critics I respect. This is one of QT's finest works since Pulp fiction. The movie is 2 1/2 hours long, but feels like 5 minutes. He makes dialogue scenes feel like action scenes. Sounds great.

District 9 was by far the best movie I have seen this summer with Up being a close 2nd. I will wait for IB to come out on DVD before seeing it, more than likely.

Yeah, District 9 was a great movie. I wasn't quite expecting the story line to go the direction it went, based on the trailers (not going to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it). But the route it did go was much more original than what I had expected.

As for IB, I wasn't too impressed with the trailers. So I really have no desire to see it. I'm not a big Tarintino fan, honestly. However, I'll probably end up seeing it, since my girlfriend wants to =X Who know... maybe I'll enjoy it.

IB is very entertaining, but then again I like those war/ WW2 movies

District 9 was definately original, however, I kinda wished I didn't pay 10 bucks to see it. IMO, a Redbox rental.

I felt the same way leaving the theatre haha, it wasn't a bad movie, just not $10 worthy imo... felt like the beginning went on for way too long

I thought District 9 was a really good movie. I was surprised by how part of the story went, that's for sure. As long as they don't decide to do a sequel (it would end up horribly cliched) then I will be happy.

I do want to see Inglorious ****s, maybe in the next few days

The bar scene and opening scene are both instant classics, and the main antagonist "Jew hunter" deserves an Oscar nod. He stole the movie just like Samuel L stole Pulp Fiction.

I think I missed the opening, unless it was the house scene.... where the guy was talking with the owner

I refuse to see that because the Eiffel Tower scene in the trailers reminds me of the opening scene to Team America (****** Yeah!)

I really want to see both D-9 and Inglorious ****s, but can't find anyone to go with.

It's even sadder than that because I don't have any friends.
