Are There Any Raven Fans Outside Of Baltimore?

569 posts in this topic

I am a Ravens fan from KY started out a Browns fan because my step mom was from cleveland and her grandpa was a steelers fan and me and him didn"t get along... I loved the dog pound... but they moved and started drafting all the greats from the "U" I became a big Ravens fan... I wanted to play baseball for Miami when I was younger... got letters and offers but I couldn't afford the tuition... the Ravens have the same swagger about them and I love it.

Die Hard Ravens fan from Montgomery Village, MD. Not too far away from Charm City, but too close to D.C. where I have to watch the Redskins lose every week. I swear I'm one zip code away from them televising Ravens games simulataneously with the Redskins. They won't even show the game when Baltimore plays at 1:00 and the Redskins play at 4;05/4:15 smh.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh area. Love my Ravens though. Was at the game last night, and it was fantastic!

On another note does anyone know how to find out what size gloves the players wear? I got 1 handed directly to me from Webb, and another one was thrown, but I don't know who it's from. 1 is a large the other is a medium, and I would like to figure out which is which. Any ideas?

How did u manage to become a Ravens fan growing up there? I've always wondered how people become fans of rival teams of their home state lol

Never liked the Steelers, never have, never will. Went to school 1 hour outside of Baltimore, watched them on Sundays and liked what I saw.

I am one of few here in Utah that represents Baltimore. You wouldn't believe how many Steelers fans there are here!! Utah dosen't have a pro football team and so lots just bandwagon with the Steelers, I however know better!! =D

From Louisiana.... Ironically in the early 90s I was a Huge Greg Llyod fan, and I liked the steelers. But Timing was perfect... The steelers lost to the cowboys in Super Bowl traded, cut or didn't resign a bunch of players G.Llyod, K.Greene etc. and the next season a the browns moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens. I started using that as my Franchise team on Madden. Rest is history.... Have never left the ravens alone. I still have 2000 SuperBowl that I taped lived that day in my closet... ( I Dont Even Own a VCR anymore lol )

Started out life in Baltimore, was just old enough to be alive when Colts left...Got into Ravens in high school, the SB victory was my freshman year of college...Grad school in Indiana, from '04-'09...It sucked being a Baltimore Ravens fan in Colts country, especially in 2006. Now, representing the Ravens in northern California. Can't wait 'til the Harbaugh Bowl.

I actually grew up a Redskins/Colts fan and when the Colts left the Redskins part took over I 'converted' in 1998 after my first game at M and T Bank against the Vikings, we actually went to the ticket office and bought PSL's

Thanks

Moderator 2,

I planned on giving the skins 3 more seasons at the beginning of last season, just so tired of the same ol same ol. I just bought a FLACCO jersey this past week and my family is hating me so much! haha, i'm like... i have two teams but trust me that i'm so sticking to my original plan. If the skins just screw more things up next off season and they crumble again, i'm totally knocking them down to number 2 and moving the ravens into my 1 spot! :) So hope the ravens beat cincy this week! and of course the skins beating dallas would be nice.

Skins beating Dallas is always nice. 229031_cheer.gif There is no going back for me but I would love to see the Ravens beat the Redskins in a Superbowl!

Bleeding purple in the heart of Indiana.

(Really wishing the Colts game was at Lucas Oil this season... but, I guess I can wait until the Super Bowl to see the Ravens in Indy.)

Recently I am living in Berlin, Germany, are there any ravens fans around here? Or: how can I find them? I'd love to join a group to watch the games.

Best,

versa
