Are There Any Raven Fans Outside Of Baltimore?

569 posts in this topic

Born and raised in Balto. Huge Colts fan until that fateful day. Moved to Hanover, Pa. in 1988, still had a lot of fans in the area. Moved to Millerstown, Pa. in 2004. This is right in the middle of the state. Center of Steelers/Eagles territory. Good thing I give it as much as I take it. Very few Ravens fans out here to back me up, but together, we still RULE THE ROOST!!

A family of Ravens fan, right in the heart of Colts territory. <Rushville, IN> I've been there from Day 1, the wife & kids are going on their 6th year on the bandwagon <except Trent, he's only 4> but he like me has been there since Day 1 <his day 1>.

Every gameday, we sport our jersey's all over Indiana right up till kick-off. If you're ever in Central Indiana, just look for the pack (#52, #20, #86, #23 and #5) walking hand-in-hand-in-hand-in-hand-in-hand.

We've been fortunate enough to find a few other Ravens fans close to home, one of which works at the local grocery <who is a Baltimore native> who moved here with her husband. Her name is Denise and her husband's name is Tom. <Don't think they'd like me giving out there last name>

But yeah, you see us around, give us a holler -- we'll hook you up with a place to watch the game.

Im a Baltimoron of 30 yrs , but have since moved to Longview,Texas.and have lived here almost 9 years. Im a DIE HARD Ravens fan and have been since the teams name was chosen. "just think we could have been the marauders" "thank god cooler heads prevaild in that one. " was there when ray lewis was introduced as the first pick , and I still have my very first (with illegal first logo and all) Baltimore Ravens t-shirt. Quote the Raven:"Fear me, becouse Im the BADDEST Bird in the Roost" ...

I've been a Ravens fan since 98' I'm from Montreal Canada but I have moved to Edmonton,Can. Even tho I'm up here in Canada I've been a football fan way more than hockey. I've only been to one NFL game ever and that was a couple of years ago to watch Favre play his last game for the JETS....Although I'm a huge Favre fan the Ravens are my team!!! In saying all of this I'm dying to get down to Baltimore this year for at least one game. Could anybody let me know what corner of the field the Ravens come out of at the start of the game. I would love to see the Ray Ray pre game dance and just get right into it!! Thanks from the only true Canadian Ravens fan that I know!!

See the tunnel by 115? Thats where. Although if you're seated on that end, you'll just see their backs. I sat opposite, in 139 and had a blast.

Try living in the heart of Black and Gold Country! It sure isn't easy being surrounded by the Stiller Nation but my husband I proudly REPRESENT all things BLACK AND PURPLE!!!!! It's especially satisfying now that all the "fans" have turned against "The Godsend, Big Ben"!

Hey

I'm from Pretoria, South Africa.

I only started seriously watching the NFL this year. It's pretty tricky. The games are broadcast at 01:00 in the morning over here.

I'm a huge rugby fan so I've always felt a connection to other impact sports. The more I started learning about football the more I loved it!

So I had to choose a team...

The Ravens stood out like a sore thumb!

I'm trying to save some money so I can get a Jersey, even an old one, and one day actually go over and watch a game.

English or Afrikaans as a first language?

I'm married to an Afrikaans speaking South African. Been to the country four times now. Awesome place. Kruger Park changed my life.

My brother-in-law (living in Tzaneen) choose the Eagles, dummy.

Anyway, welcome friend. You'll find a wealth of knowledge here. Congrats on choosing the best team in the NFL to follow.

Hahaha! Goed om jou te ontmoet. Jou Afrikaans is baie mooi.

I've also never been outside Africa, but I'm seriously trying to travel.

Next time you are over here you should go watch a rugby game. Obviously at Loftus Versveld.

Baie Danke.

If you want to work outside the country, try the cruise ship industry. I knew quite a few South Africans when I worked on ships. I met my wife that way.

Wow, I never knew that there was this many Ravens fans around the states as well as out of the country. I'm just a local boy, been a fan of the team from day 1. Knowing we have all this additional support is really cool!

Go Ravens!!!

I'm a life-long Marylander who is now living in Washington, DC. Not only are there a ton of Skins/Dallas fans in D.C., but when I go out on Sundays it seems like I see every other team's colors but the Ravens. What gives?! Luckily I've got a small flock of friends to catch games with here, but we're always looking to add more to the nest. You can follow us at www.twitter.com/DC_Ravens_Fans and join the fun out at the bars in D.C.!

I represent Ravens in Hull, East Yorkshire, England.

Its all Eagles and 49ers here! But I'm keeping it Purple!!!!!!!

Are you Red and White / Black & White or a Tiger?

There are a number of us British and Irish Ravens fans on 24x7's board. Our group is called the 'UKRavens'

There used to be a few European Ravens fans with us, but the went away.

Here I am, representing Reno, Nevada. Born and raised in a Raider household, but when my dad died, we moved to Baltimore and I had the freedom to choose my own team. I became hooked at around the end of the 08-09 season, and for my 18th birthday, we saw the first game of the 09-10 season against the Chiefs. What a game THAT was. One of the best moments of my life was watching the clock tick down with about 2 minutes left, watching Flacco go back and lob it to Clayton, and immediately I stood up 'cause I think I along with everyone else in the stadium said in their head "He's got it!"

Now I'm back in Reno for college and friends, but we're trying to figure out how to watch our teams (Ravens for me and Broncos and Eagles for them) in this state filled with mostly Raiders and Niners fans.
