Bolt

Since talk is going around well Hines Ward has said Usain Bolt should try out for the NFL, lets just say he did and made a teams roster what do you think his speed rating would be on madden, remember two-years back Hester had the first ever 100 rating so it would have to bust that...yes i know this is a silly topic but it was just on ESPN and it crossed my mind THANX.

Well his speed would have to be 100, no doubt. Acceleration 100. But his overall rating would have to be in the high 70's until he is proven. He could be mister fumblitits out there. I would have to assume he would be just a return man.

High 70's just because he's fast in a straight line? He's never played football, never run routes, never caught a football under pressure and never taken a hit.

I agree his speed and acceleration would have to be 100 but in terms of overall rating he would have to be one of the lowest on the game surely!!

Actually I do believe the lower the better too. High 70's is too high.

If Yamon Figurs is rated 39 this year and he's played the game his whole life I would expect Bolt to be below that coming in off the streets! :P

Justin Gatlin was once the worlds fastest man 2 years ago and tried out for the Texans, he couldnt even make it as a kick returner.

Well his speed would have to be ABOVE 100 unless you want all your "fast" nfl players looking like they run 10.0s 40's. And in terms of acceleration it isn't 100, if you watch any of his races he builds up over time it just his speed is incredibly high that he just blows by.

His acceleration would definitely be 100, he had good starts in both finals this week and look what happened! It isn't his acceleration that's the problem, it's his starts which is a different thing entirely.

His speed would have to be 100 and they would have to adjust the other guys accordingly, the next fastest guys start from 98 and so on. They could still adjust the speeds without adjusting the scale of 1-100!
