Suggs

[Natural Born Hitters]

Last I heard about Suggs is that he left a practice early and was seen with a boot on one of his feet the next day. During the pre season game they asked him a few questions, but only about his shoulder and not his foot problem. Does anyone know whats going on with him? He has not been to practice and wasn't even geared up for the game.

Sounds like he's not in a big hurry to get back to camp.

I imagine they want to give it time to heal as well.

Coul he hate camp THAT much or believe that is is good enough to skip it? Wearing a boot for a heal injury says to me he is playing up a minor injury or there is something more serious no one is talking about.

When they interviewed him during the preseason game. He said something along the lines of he didn't want to be there, he'd prefer the beach at this time of year. He sounded like he just hated camp and preseason period.

That was just Suggs being Suggs. He'll be fine, they're just making sure he's 100 percent.. Besides you know how coy our coaches are about injuries and how significant they may be.

Kinda hope he would show more interest, especially after his huge contract this summer. Ah well, so long as he's ready to go at 100% come Kansas City, I'll be happy.

I just think he doesn't want to get injured before the regular season starts. I kinda don't blame him after he signed a new contract and all. We all know the man can play.

As much money as we are giving Suggs, I don't want anything to happen to him in the preseason, so let him sit. Preseason is really a waist of time, and you rarely see big name players play more than a series or 2, so I wouldn't worry.

Its no secret that Suggs hates training camp. He'll milk every injury he sustains until the season starts. But I'm not worried about it in the least. Sizzle is just being Sizzle. Get used to it because he's going to be here for a very long time.

If Pryce can stay healthy and the other young LBs play well, Suggs could have his best season to date.
