When Will They Stop?

I am so tired of hearing about micheal vick. he is the only thing i have seen on nfl network! is there a way to sign a petition to ask for them not to talk about vick until he actually plays a snap?

Even if it weren't for the circus that is his life since the dog fights, Vick really doesn't garner the near 24/7 media and fan attention he's getting. He was/is a sub-par quarterback that has a good set of legs on him. Aside from 2002, most of his seasons ended up with a TD/INT ratio close to 1:1, usually only 2-3 more TDs than INTs. His accuracy was passable at best, 56% was his career best. If it weren't for his rushing abilities, Vick would have been a nobody. Certainly not worthy of the praise he's getting right now.

At least Favre earned all the attention over the course of his record setting career. Granted it was extremely overdone and drawn out. But I think a future Hall of Famer deserves that sort of attention over a quarterback who's only saving grace was his rushing abilities.
