Ravens Sign Cleo Lemon

Just got a Ravens txt.

Played for us before, also played for Cam in Miami, like John Beck.
Beck has a collarbone injury, so that's probably why this happened.

lol, so the guy who Quarterbacked Miami in 2007, while Cam Cameron was head coach, and who beat the ravens for their only win and effectively preventing Miami from being the Detroit lions before the Detroit lions will be our new QB? As the World turns....

I think he got dropped the first time when we signed Bennet and picked up some lineman.

Ya, bc Coach H said yesterday they brought drew back so i guess we signed both drew and cleo and after the next cpl preseason games we will prolly release one...

According to Aaron Wilson, Lemon was signed as a precaution if Beck is sidelined for a while! Beck hasn't broken his collarbone as first thought (sprained muscles and ligaments) and was light throwing today apparently.

Good depth if Beck is sidelined......also have to look at it as a positive that he knows Cam Cameron and his offense.

Still though "Cleo Lemon" I thank god I wasn't given that name.

haha, yeah that is a horrible name....

anyway, Cleo is a terrific backup. There was a point in time a lot of people felt he could be an effective starter. That never really panned out obviously but as a backup, he's a good one. As a number three...he's gold.

The Lemon has landed!! Now, the team can switch it's base offense to the wildcat with Troy, Cleo and Joe as a receiver...

I think this is a good signing simply because Lemon has NFL starting experience.

The 3rd QB is an asset for knowing the system since the greater talent is going to end up #1 or #2.

Beck isn't going to make the roster like I said. Flacco, Smith, and Lemon superb depth. All could win with this defense as starters. All better than our former inconsistent starter Kyle Boller.

I rathe rkeep Cleo. Hehas more experience with Cam. FYI Cleo was on the Chargers and Miami Dolphins with Cam Cameron as Headcoach/O-Coordinator
