Did you have to get an XXXXL to fit all those letters?
No, but I had to buy an authentic b/c the replicas only let me fit 10 letters...damn you, NFL, for making me pay $300 just to have my last name fit!

This might be known already, but Ed Reed also Does this when he gets a Pick 6

THE U
I've seen that on the rare occasions that I've made Ed Reed score, as well as the Raven swooping-dance animation maybe a couple of times. I've also seen Santana Moss do the U celebration when I've scored TDs with him. Not sure about Clinton Portis, but I'd expect it eventually.

I remember the PS2 Madden games had a poor imitation of Ray Lewis' dance as a TD celebration and that it was done whenever someone scored a TD at M&T Bank Stadium. I'm assuming it was in a mocking fashion when done by the opposition, and as a tribute when done by a teammate. I've never seen it done at other stadiums using other teams.

I like the game. The only thing I didn't was the 'Superstar' mode, it is just so basic and it gets pretty boring fast. But that's just my opinion.

The voice acting needs fixed Cris Collinsworth gets on my nerves saying the same old lame stuff over & over. The Franchise mode seems lacking in some areas and the extra point although new & different seems empty and useless. The Superstar mode is weak and becomes boring quickly sometimes leaving you with the feelings of why am I playing this mode? Online mode can sometimes become very annoying between the KR's for TD on almost every kick off to the CBs in the game give up monster plays even when you call a heavy coverage in the dime form with the LB droped back in coverage, my scores online and offline usually end up somewhere near the 60-70 mark from each team.

The game is fun but still on the average side but they have lots of new & improved features to work with now with the great physics and the pro-tak the 2011 should be a great year for madden now they have the stepping stone of 2010 out of the way they can really build on the features they added with the 2010 madden. I rented my 2010 I am not buying madden until this summer when 2011 launches.

What the hell, 70 points online?!? I rarely give up more than 21 points, and when I do its cuz im being an idiot, or playing somebody who mixes there looks so well I dont know if its PA or not. Rarely do the clowns who sit in shotgun and just sling it put up points on me.

Is there anyone who once Free Agency begins, adjusts the rosters to match next season's starting rosters? I have already started doing that by adjusting the rosters every time there is a release and I'll be pretty busy on Friday. It's tough but it's something to do to kill time before Madden 11 comes out. Do you also create any of the top Draft Picks and place them on the team they get drafted by? The one thing I have found being hard is trying to take the Bills defense and turn them into a 3-4 defense, and switching positions, it's hard figuring out who goes where, I moved Aaron Maybin and Aaron Schobel into LBs and Marcus Stroud into a DE from a DT.

Yep! It's the best way to see what needs to address. Although, I seldom sign FA's. "maybe" one or two of my own, but I build in the draft.

BTW All, I finished my 30 years with the Steelers and guess what happened at the end:

Nothing. Not a stinkin' thing!

So, I started a new one with the Seahawks. *shrugs*

The game is terrible, but thats what happens when you have an exclusive license, EA spends more money and effort on marketing which makes no sense as the game sells itself.

While 2K5s representation of football was about 500 times better than Maddens has ever been, at least Madden 10 progressed 10 fold from the garbage-trash that was Madden 09...never been so disgusted in a football simulation as a whole in my life.

IMO it is the best and most realistic football game that EA Sports has ever made. I can't put the game down.

It was the game engine, you couldnt do any man coverage because no corner could play it, the speed ratios for positions were messed up and through the roof, on some blitzs and runs your Olineman would do a 360 spin for no apparent reason when playing the CPU and let the LB go right by they, Ts and TEs would also totally miss their blocking assignment on stretchs and power Os and not block a single person when it was obvious who they had to block. There was no actual pocket formed when your Oline dropped into pass protection. No 3-4 NT was ever double teamed (still arent), you didnt have to blitz to stop the run in a 3-4 you could just rush 3 down and stop it.

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

I think the CPU would cause computer "brain farts" just to keep it interesting/competitive. But I agree about the speed thing. It's a video game...in ten years maybe they'll be more life-like, but they are waaaaaay better than they were in the 80's.

I often thought if it was the CPU corrupting your players for that very reason. But then why wouldnt the makers just make the CPU players just do what theyre supposed to do. I'd have no problem if the Dline was peeling off blocks...just as long as they were touched lol.

Im still waiting on virtual reality lol

I'm with ya. If they could get just a little more balance, it'd be more accurate, but....

I'm still reasonably pleased with the O-Line mechanics in '11, particularly because I've never before been able to avoid sacks as easily as I have now or scramble as realistically when a play breaks down. Granted, I don't like to scramble, but if I have to do it, I at least like being able to find a crease in the O-Line when the pocket breaks and then take off and slide for a 5-yard gain. This is a significant improvement from the days of '04 when Mike Vick on a bootleg happened every play for an easy 20 yards or more.

Mike Vick, the first and hopefully last illegal player to use in a Madden game.

Has anyone started a Franchise and simmed the first season and when you got to the coaching staff change, what did you do for the Seahawks and Redskins? Those 2 have coaches that are not in Madden, Carrol and Shannannan. I just started a Franchise and got to the coaching staff change and gave new contracts to Phillips, Reid, Kubiak, Turner, Childress and Wisenhunt just like they all got contract extensions in real life. Now I went and fired Zorn and Mora and did all the other coaching changes from this off-season and I'm stuck on what to do for the Seahawks and Skins. Not sure if I should keep Mora and Zorn head coach or not. Any help?
