Lawrence was the best tonight, until otherwise he is winning the battle. Time will tell.

Yes, but we have already seen the Parmele from last year as well.

All of those guys looked good tonite imo. We really didn't run much until the end. But when they got some check down, they made the best of it.

I love that this is actually a legitimate topic. I liked Peerman personally. He showed vision, quickness and strength on his TD run to ice the game.

It is a great problem but I think at least one of these guys will be on another team during the season.

well looking at lawrencs style sorry to bring this up in 2000 we got this rookie who in 2003 hd 2 yard shy of walter peytons single season record. honestly his downhill and juke skills and that doubletap step reminded me of lewis in 2003 something tells me he will make #3 and if he does in less then 2 years he will be either 2 or 1 on our list and sometime will break that 2 yard barrier

I understand he reminds you of Jamal but it's been 1 pre-season game. Do you think all that will happen? It could, but it just doesn't seem likely.

I like Peerman personally but Lawrence made a heck of a case for himself tonight. It's hard to judge but for now, Lawrence.

We have a system that makes HBs look good, just like a system that makes LBs look good. Theres a chance these guys would struggle behind a lesser blocking unit.

That said I like all 3 for us, and Peerman the most but he has to work on his fumbling though. Parmele is a one dimensional runner with limited agility, he'd get exposed against stronger teams.

Lawrence is a toss-up, he looked good but its one single preseason game.

It definetly was hard to tell. This is a great decision for us to have to make. I kept seeing nice runs, and looking who that player was, and most the time it was Lawerence.

I follow the team really close, and I was like who's Lawerence? He did make some nice plays.

Peerman I knew about. And he was looking great, but moreso near the very end.

I give the edge to Lawerence after today's game.

I like Peerman because we drafted him and i got his autograph at camp, lol. But yea, I also like Parmele because of he had some good plays against the Jags last year.

First and foremost, I'm pretty sure (99%) that Eric Dickerson is the single-season record holder for rushing yards. Furthermore, I'm rather sure it was a bit more that 2 yards.

Secondly, Lawrence was impressive. However, one preseason game against 2nd team Redskins is not exactly the proving grounds. It was not Pittsburgh in Pitt. with 34 degree weather. It wasn't even close.

Thirdly, while his moves were somewhat like Jamal's...his size and burst are no where near the same. 2003 was a perfect storm for JL and to assume that some running back that many die-hard Ravens fans did not know existed will repeat Jamal's feat and overstep Dickerson's?

Well..thats just a bit much.

Love the enthusiasm though.

GO Ravens.

Oh, and my opinion is that Peerman will get comfortable soon enough and really shine. That boy can run the rock.

Cedric Peerman, both in build and running style, reminded me of Jamal Lewis tonight. He's like a lighter version of J.Lew, but with the same bruising rumble that he had pre-ankle surgery. I think it's a toss-up between Peerman and Matt Lawrence right now. Both guys impressed. Parmele, not so much for a while there.
