Skins Fans Live On Csn

56 posts in this topic

I hate Skins fans more than Steelers fans for the fact that they both talk the same amount of crap, but, as much as it pains me to say, the Steelers can actually back it up. Zorn's offensive gameplan is about as complex as a game of backyard football and Dan Snyder has one of the worst GM in the league (barring Al Davis or Jerry Jones). I feel bad for Brian Orakpo, I've always been a fan of his.

Actually, I've never met, seen or spoken to a Lions fan. I actually thought they were mythical....like Leprechauns (sp?).
I had thought the same thing, but I recently discovered that two people who attend my church are Lions fans. I was like "Woah, I didn't know they existed." My friend told me that one of them used to write the score of the Lions game and compare it to the score of the Redskins game.

As far as 'Skins fans versus Steelers fans, personally I'd give the Redskins the dubious honor of generally being more tolerable than Steeler fans if for no other reason than that they don't have bandwagon fans.

You've got to be kidding me. They're on our Steelers board talking smack now too......not even a week after the Ravens blanked them!!!

Here's what the brain-child wrote:
Albert Haynesworth is gearing up to lay out some punishment this coming Saturday night on Pittsburg. The Steelers will have not only a hard time winning, but will find it difficult to even score in the first half with the newly revamped Redskin defense known now as "THE DEATH STAR".

When the Steelers leave Washington Late Saturday night, they will be escorted my medical personnel who will watch over many of the lifeless bodies scattered throughout the plane. Ashes to ashes and Dust to dust. The END is near.

The Redskins await you.
Whenever somebody describes their defense as a fictional thing from Star Wars, you know they have issues. Didn't the "Death Star" get blown up in the end by the winners? Good Analogy Redskins fan.

Lol, that's a good point, but don't forget that the Evil Empire has done quite well for itself.

Haha. As much as I'd like the Redskins' fan to be right [in that I'd like the Steelers to not be good this year - it's the rivalry thing, don't take it personally :) ], it IS pretty laughable.

When I watched the Caps lose their first game to the Penguins in the playoffs, I saw a guy walk by after the game who was wearing a Caps jersey, and a Lions hat.

I think that rat **** jinxed us.

Once a year for work, I have lunch with a Lions fan. Last year I remember talking to him about Kevin Smith. All he could do was make fun of his own team. He does it every year. This year I'll ask him about Stafford.

My girlfriend lives in Georgia and her best friend's friend got an STD from Stafford..

This is exactly my point about their fans! they dont have anything to boast about besides History. Atleast, we have enough respect for the Steelers to worry a little or bite our finger nails prior to or during a game. A steeler fan even confessed that the ravens makes him super nervous everytime we play them! Thats respect! The Skins arent even contenders and still bragg or talk trash just becuz they have a history! Thats foolish!

So, the Redskins last in the division anyone? lol
Looking at the other 3 teams in that division, I'd say its almost a certainty. Their defense will keep them in the game but they have zero offense. Every other team in that division has a decent defense but the other three have offenses that the Redskins will not be able to match.

There were a lot of "worried" skins fans at M&T last week. I know its pre-season but their starting offense couldn't sustain anything. Granted Clinton Portis wasnt running but they have a major issue at the QB position.

If the skins start out 1-3, as sad as it sounds, Todd Collins will be playing QB. They have already shown that Jason Campbell is on a short leash with the attempted moves that the skins tried to make at QB in the offseason.

Clinton Portis' heavy career work load will catch up with him very soon; I think he'll have an injury-riddled season in all honesty. Like you said, they'll struggle to move the ball. Jason Campbell showed signs of improvement early last year but then fell to bits down the stretch along with the rest of the team.

As for 6 games vs Giants, Eagles and Cowboys... good luck... they have the worst offense of those teams and would be at least 3rd in defense as well.

Near the end of the 4th quarter, Dan Snyder will reveal that he is actually Mike Tomlin's father.

Don't forget your light saber!

I just have to point out that the Redskins beat the Eagles in both games and their defense was second (4th overall) in that division.

I know that, but I don't see how that will help them this season lol. The Eagles made the Playoffs, so did the Giants and even the Cowboys finished with a better record. In terms of stats, those matter more.

Jason Campbell is just horrible, as soon as he gets replaced they will be a contender. 4-2 in the division, sweeping the Cowgirls and exchanging blows with Giants and Eagles.

What a reject. I really hope Pitts shuts them down too. Foreskins fans are probably THE most annoying people walking (or slithering across, whichever the case may be) on the face of the earth, and it would make my day to see them go two weeks without putting a single point on the board. Hopefully a jolly good thrashing of those chumps will get Pitts pumped up and ready to play us hard when we bang heads again.
