We are playing a different speed than the redskins.

We are playing passionate, hardnose football. Raven Football and this is just preseason.

The backups are impressing me.

QBs aren't panicking, they are poised and give Troy Smith some props. He started rough but him and his receivers got on the same page.

Defense is the defense.

Good all around first half.

He did last preseason. And he played horribly. You have to take advantage of all the opportunities you get, no matter how limited.

But this isn't the Troy Smith show anymore, it's the Joe Flacco show. We have our QB, and we have a capable backup. We should be happy. Better to have two decent QBs than NONE at all. And if/when Smith goes to a new team to be a starter, I'm sure he'll do fine. And if not, no consequence to us.

I'm not liking Flacco, he had 1 really great pass to Marcus Smith but that is it. Troy is looking MUCH better. Flacco can't score, look what Smith did in less than a minute.

Flacco made some good throws and did good with his progressions. It's moreso with his decisions and what he is looking at the on the field. Troy did the same thing. It's not so much about plays but the coaches like Cam said, he wants to see completions. Both QBs are doing well so we gotta be happy to have 2 QBs who are showing nice poise.

nice first half offense looked pretty good...i really never realized how fast rice is that boy is lightning..troy and joe both looked good.harper misses a few passes but makes a td.i'm liking this so far hopefully second half will be as good. hope you guys are enjoying the game.

2. Flacco completion % = 60%, Smith 43.8%

i agree with you on flacco but if harper caught those three he missed troy compl% woulda been higher ...joe is our quarterback ...i like what we have as a backup tho

I'm not rooting against Flacco, we have to much invested in him to play like this though. I hope Flacco surpasses Smith but it's not this game.

9/15 - 109yds no TD's, but NO PICKS - thats what I was most interested in. If he kept his poise, went through reads well, threw to open receivers then I could care less if he threw a TD or not. The INT is a more worriesome stat in my eyes and was what I was looking for in preseason.

Flacco completed passes to D. Williams, Derrick Mason, Marcus Smith, Ray Rice, and Kelly Washington on two drives, both scoring drives. Against starters. You want to see your starting QB distributing passes to different receivers against a starting defense.

Touchdowns in preseason don't matter. You can score all the TDs in the world like the Lions going 4-0 in preseason last year, and it won't matter if you're going 0-16 in the regular season. The little things are all that count in preseason.

Its not so much mentioning his name, its how he said it, saying Smith is much better and look at what he did in less than a minute. It was just an ignorant post all around.
