I just ordered 28 issues of S.I. for $49.00

My two free gifts are Madden 10 for XB360 and a Madden DVD. I may have to wait a week after the release to get it, but you can't beat the value.

Got any relatives in the states? You could split it: You get Madden and they get the subscription. Although shipping for you may still be the same as just going to the store there in the U.K.

Yeah it wouldn't be much money saved without the SI subscription to sweeten the deal! I have no relatives living in the States anyway.

wait a week, and relatively spend 24.50 on madden 2010 (figure going 50/50 with the game and subscription)

but for some reason it kind of sounds too good to be true

The key is you have to remember to cancel the subscription before your year is up, or else you'll get billed for a second year's subscription.

Nahhhh. I already pre-ordered from Amazon.com and took advantage of the offer to get a free $10 gift card. And since the price is reduced from retail slightly, my $54.99 towards Madden is more like $44.99 in theory w/ the gift card. Sure, I don't get the SI subscription and DVD, but I have too much clutter around the house anyway.

(Plus, I'd rather put that $10 gift card towards the 30 Rock bundle!)

My fiancee loves that show. I don't watch much TV. Dude I will be categorizing each issue by Team. Winning teams (in all sports) will find those issues on Ebay for $10.00 a pop! lol.

You're missing out! it's one of the sharper sitcoms on TV right now, yet it's not afraid to be silly. Makes me realize how much Saturday Night Live must miss Tina Fey as head writer. And Alec Baldwin is downright BRILLIANT as an NBC network exec. I fall in love with the show with every new episode. Last time a show did that was South Park back in the day.

I pre-ordered mine when the price was temporarily $54.99, so I'm guaranteed to get that price even though it's been raised $2.

Amazon = Heaven for an English major. Because most of my required books for class are regular books and NOT textbooks, my annual textbook costs aren't nearly as bad as everyone else's.

I pre-ordered with Gamestop, they are giving an extra 25% on games you trade in toward the purchase of Madden 10, so im getting rid of all my old ps2 game, got like 30 of them, should take off about $25-$35

So did I! At the earlier price of $54.99, as well, instead of the current list price of $56.99.

People need to stop buying games at retail and start ordering online...not only do you sometimes get them faster (depending on whether you're SO dedicated that you NEED them at midnight...not really), but you'll usually get them for cheaper depending on your shipping. Or, if you're an Amazon Prime customer like ME, the subscription MORE than pays for itself if you continually pre-order games (or other products) and get free release date shipping.

yeah but 24.50 and having to wait even a month is well worth it haha, Just waiting til after my Bday to do anything, cause I've learned my lesson there... which isn't too bad of a wait, seeing as Madden 2010 and my bday are the same day (the 14th )

Some S.I. covers are worth collecting. I don't like waiting either, but this is worth it. Plus I'm in season 28 of 30 w/ the Steelers in Madden 09 so I need a little more time to finish anyway.

I don't know if you guys saw my original post re how much I love amazon, but it's great to know you guys are taking advantage of it. I don't know how great the SI deal is it's 28 issues which is 4 months a issue a week and any double issues count for 2 issues, you gotta make sure it's cancelled or they'll bill u again in four months and if the card doesn't go theu they'll send u a paper bill. If you are an avid sports reader yea go for it, but I rarely read anything anymore in print all online and tv, and is there tax?...amazon is no tax no shipping unless u want a priority delivery, and it's $5 off now and a $10 amazon card and it has been extended to august 17th.

i might get it now that u guys like it so much. we'll see.
