Hey, I've been a member of this forum for a couple years now, and have to say its the best overall sports team forum I've found.

One thing I like about the Orioles Hangout forums is that when you hold your mouse over a topic, it allows you to read the first sentence or two without actually clicking it.

It isn't a must have for me (clearly as much as I keep coming back!) but I just thought maybe some others may be interested in a feature implicated like this too.

That's actually a pretty good idea! It'd save a bit of time cumulatively when browsing the forums, looking for topics to comment on. Plus, it'd help sort through the repetitive threads and separate the original ones from the redundant ones (i.e. WR topics, free agent ideas, etc.)

I'll ask if this software supports it--Orioles Hangout I think is on the Scout network and their software is a hybrid.

On the old forum, when I hit "Mark this forum as read" it would grey out the Ravens icon for the specific forum on the main message board page. It would stay this way until somebody posts a new message.

I found this very helpful, because I like to peruse all forums and it makes it tedious to check every one, especially if nothing was posted.

Is there a possibility of this feature returning? Or is there a new feature that indicates the same thing?

At the bottom of your screen, there's a "Mark board as read" link. Do that one time, then thereafter when you come in, just click "View New Content" at the top of your screen and it will show you all the threads with new posts since you were last here. When you're done for that session, you can mark board as read again or click "Mark all items as read".

You can also use the orange square to the left of the name of the post. If there are new posts, it will take you directly to the first new one..
