WNST is reporting Hanesworth is not playing Thursday night. He did act like a toddler after the playoff loss in January.

Why?!?! I'm guessing they are hoping to gain "redemption" from last years bit on MNF. Even so, it's only pre-season. We won't have all our starters and neither will they. It doesn't even count as a game. I don't get the "rivarly" the Skins fans have against us. They aren't our division or even AFC. We hardly play them. I guess it's the whole "battle of the beltways thing" still though I've never felt the hatred that they feel. Shouldnt they keep the hate on Dallas? This game really doesn't matter to me.

I feel the same way! These DeadSkin fans are lookin for anything to cheer about.Plus,I think they are mad jealous of the fact that we have the better team in the bmore/dc area. All they do is sit around and reflect on the old days when their team used to win. I understand their pain. But, they shouldn't take it out on us!

I live in Richmond and it is definitely way more skins fans down here. My roommates are all skins fans too so i still want to see the look on their faces after we beat them again.

I wonder if they're just mad that we got the glory of spanking the Cowgirls in their final game at their old stadium.

I'll be the first to admit, the Redskins D will be much improved. But the Redskins will not win anything this year, because they are missing a key facet of the game, and offensive line.

They rely on aging stars from other teams or high priced free agents to fill their void in the OL. They never draft an OL in the first few rounds of a draft. Nothing they did this year is going to give Jason Campbell the time he needs to make passes down field.

Therefore, Jason Campbell's and Horny for Zorny days are numbered in Washington, despite any fault of theirs. It makes me happy to be a Raven fan. Because our owners have given time to head coaches, and draft OL in the first round. Watch Oher become a superstar.

They think getting one good defensive player that cost their whole salery cap will get them to the SuperBowl. WRONG! They also arguably have the worst owner in the NFL. Cambell isn't the guy, but get a good QB they might get far in the playoffs.

I used to live in Richmond! :)

Now I live closer to DC and the strangest thing happened; there used to be burgandy and gold as far as the eye can see, but suddenly everything is covered in a mess of black and yellow...

Most Redskins fans are not anticipating a SB win, Haynesworth or not, they are expeting a playoff run though.

No qb is going to be good behind that O-line.

I have to disagree about Dan Snyder. The guy whose team has a worse record than the Detroit Lions is absolutely the worst owner in the NFL.

I want me some Colt Brennan.

I see the Cult of Colt has reached even Ravens territory.

I have mixed feelings myself.

Right now, I'd imagine it sucks to be a redskins fan. I mean, look at what their owner is doing to the team. So I don't really blame them for getting pumped for the game. I'm pumped simply because its the first time I get to see our boys play against another team since last year.

I could care less if we win or lose. I care more about how our players do. Especially since it's our young players that will be our future. I think the score matters a little bit only because it kind of shows how good our second and third team is in comparison to our opponents. But other than that it doesn't really matter. I'm happy our young players get a lot of playing time in the closest thing to a real game.

I've been reading a lot about how Flacco has struggled. He needs to get his confidence back in the preseason. I know writers say stuff just to make money but I'd be happier if they said how he was improving. Hopefully he got his growing pains out of the way in training camp.

I think they are happy, because they would have lost.

Pre-season is much better when you know the team down to likely cuts and practice squad members. This year will be the first time I'm this familiar with the team. This should be passion filled and fun. Time to win "Battle of the Depths". Pre-season may actually better show how good a team is than regular season.

You would not believe how many people's facebook statuses are things about this game...you would think it was the super bowl! I guess if the Skins beat us in pre season for them would be the equivalent of a super bowl haha!

Im headed down to Bmore now myself...not sure how my seats are, ive never had upper corners before but we shall see! My sister and her boyfriend are going and its her first NFL game so I let her have the better seats.

1/2 of DC is redskin fans...

i live in PG county now...used to live in owings mills and randallstown.... and even when i used to visit my grandparents in PG county back in the day....the city ain't 100% skin fans. more like 60%skins 30% cowboys and 10% steelers.

I saw a bunch of people rockin steelers jerseys at PG Plaza today. I did see a Ravens hat today...i assume they go to UMD, lol.

people in the DC area with the excpetion of montgomery county would rather be cowboys and steelers fans...than Ravens Fan.

You nailed that one! Their starting O line is average at best, and we plainly saw they have no depth whatsoever. Unless the Cowboys stink it up this year, the 'skins will finish last in their division again.

There's a good chance that that will happen. The Walking Wounded Eagles could see a drop as well. Even though they did make it to the Conference (and kudos to them for that), if they drop from 9 wins, it's going to be a long year in Philly.

It's so typical of the Redskins FO to not draft an offensive lineman. They have a top five defense, added a great defensive lineman, but their offense scored fewer points than the Detroit Lions; so what do they draft? Defense.
