Madden Rating...

The ravens are rated 82 overall in the upcoming game madden '10 which I think is pretty low compared to some of the other teams in the NFL. I will post the link to the madden website that has every team rating but how do they have teams such as the whole NFC east besides the skins rated higher than the ravens. Not tryna sound bias but I know madden ratings are mainly based off of last year performance but it seems like the ravens gained no respect from last season.

I know you are new here and welcome! But there is a madden section and this thread is more than likely to get moved there. So you wont be wandering what happened to it.

Its all gravy. I am a bit disappointed at our rating aswell. I figured we would atleast be better than Dallas.

well the thing with madden is it cant rate the intangibles...ie roethlisberger figuring out how to play QB in the 4th quarter when hes a clown for the other 3 or more relevant perhaps Romo sucking it up when november/december hit. Its all about whats on paper in madden because its impossible to have a rating for the human mistakes and brain (no way you can predict if somebody is going to have a bad week). On paper Dallas is one of the best teams in the NFL, have a high powered offense with a very respectable defense. Lucky for us that day we wanted it more, and executed better.

yeah 82 is pretty low but they say the "average" player rating in the game is a 70.... ive played the demo a few times the game speed is slowed down so your not running 40 yards in 3 seconds

The overall ratings (team or player) don't matter because any player worth their salt can at least be competitive with any team. An 82 overall rating is definitely good enough to win games with. Could be better, sure, but at least the team didn't dip into the 70s.

I say 90's only because im a bias ravens fan but seriously ravens def should be 85+ Im a BIG madden fan and ill b running with my boyz all year long[hit me up for ps3 gamertag] besides we r going to have a beast year and madden will admit when they are wrong and do roster updates sooo no need to worry

by week 3 with the updates theyll be puttin us up to a 92

haha ya I agree. I was also very disappointed with our rating. Also Joe Flacco should be better than an 81. He proved it last year. Can't wait for the roster updates.

at least statistically we have the fastest defense on madden , fabian washington is the fastest defensive player on madden , that's awesome , just wish we was rated a little higher , Ravens deserve some RESPECT !!!
