Does everyone think Kelley Washington has a roster spot locked up?

Probably, he's practicing on the first team in three-receiver sets and he seems to be developing some chemistry with Flacco. I think he'll start out as our #4 WR, unless he gets beat out by Harper.

The only real threat of making the cut is between Kelley Washington, Marcus Smith, and Justin Harper. 4 or 5 WR will make the cut, so I wouldn't say he is a lock. If Williams or Clayton weren't at risk for future injury Washington wouldn't be first team. This does mean he may have a step ahead of Harper and Smith, though I believe the other two have greater potential. All that and WR fragility will factor into the cuts.

I've always liked Kelley Washington but he lost 2 cool points with me when i heard he started a fight with Evan Oglesby. Come on Kelley, save it for the regular season!

Hey gotta give the man credit for picking his battles. If you are gonna pick a fight then find a guy that is looking to make the team just like you. Beat him up in 1 on 1 drills, then beat him up pyshically. So if it comes down to you and him only one roster spot you can say "Hey coach i beat him in everything"

As for Kelley being a lock, i wouldn't go that far. But i think he will definately have to play his way off the roster, so i guess that is as close to a lock as it gets.

I think with the depth of the team it'll be hard for the Ravens to keep 6 WRs, but i think they do. I think Harper plays his way onto the roster.

Im really not warming up to this guy. When i heard him and Walker got into it, i figured it was Walker, but now Oglesby? I seen the video and it was very uncalled for, not off to a good start.

I didn't see a fight at all in that video, if there was one it must have been extremely small scuffle in the background or something.

Here is the fight. And its sounds like everyone has been talking at camp. Once we start playing other people then we won't care about one stupid scuffle in training camp. The video before was just one that showed he was doing pretty good in camp. Fights are no big deal. Unless you're Steve Smith and break your teammates nose.

Yea fights happen in Camp. it's actually good to see the offense not be bullied by the defense. I'm actually surprise there hasn't be even more fights, this year.

Like another poster said, once they start playing other teams things will really settle down. These are really the last few days of training camp coming up.

Uh oh i guess according to you kelly washington is a bad character guy now right. Please. The Oglesby fight was apparently friendly competition. Harbaugh doesn't mind the training camp scuffles. They will Happen. I believe you have Marshall as your picture? Don't get me wrong, I love Marshall but at least Kelly Washington is beating up on a corner that might not make the team where marshall beats up on women.

They have video of it, Washington was blocking Oglesby a little too zealously on a routine running play. It's just a tiny camp fight and not a big deal by any means. By the way, I don't think SupaBaldwin was taking it that far..

i wouldnt say that. harper is a good WR IMO and he can beat washington everytime

harper didnt put on pads for a year now and is playing good football, if he learns how to run routes he has the ability to become the deep threat we are looking for

As uncertain and inexperienced some of our WRs are, I think he should have a spot locked up for this year for sure. I'm not sure after this year though.

If Kelley Washington is going hard in camp vs the DB's, how do you think he will play in the game? We need a WR that plays tough and with a attitude. We need some WR's like that!

agreed, I read in Baltimore Sun that he was bringing some attitude towards the offensive side of the ball and I have not seen that before. Hopefully the young ones will learn from that.

Is there a reason youdon't like him? Because from what it sounds like he is really doing well in camp.

If he could help this offense put up yards and points, why would you want him cut.

I don't think Washington will be huge for the Ravens this year. However I can see him with about 15-30 catches for about 400 yards and 3 tDs.

His biggest impact will probably come in the redzone, which is much needed for the Ravens
