Crabtree Willing To Re-Enter Draft!

37 posts in this topic

49ers are offering him more than the rookie CBA agreement will allow. I'm sure none of the 32 teams want him now, not even the 49ers. Poor San Fran obviously in a bad situation.

P.S. I have a little sympathy for T.O. , obviously a very painful childhood. I'm proud of him:

He went from average to getting cabbage.

Sitting out a whole year would mean he'd be out a years worth of money, and an NFL season of experience. There's no way he'll sit out.

This story is probably overblown.. But I wonder, what would happen to the 49ers if he did re-enter in 2010, would they get another 1st rounder or something?

(not sure if my facts are straight on the following story)

but no, they wouldn't, The Vikings(?) didnt get another pick when The Ravens wanted to trade up to get Byron Leftwich, and the Jaguars made sure to tie up the phonelines, forcing the pick to run out of time and be invalid. :\

Crabtree re-entering the draft would only be good for Baltimore the way i see it, i certainly wouldn't want us to draft him with this attitude, but with all the focus on him it would be more likely for a Benn, or Bryant to fall further into the draft.

That's not the same situation. I understand how a forfeited pick during the draft works.

he seems to think money grows on trees, we should start calling him Michael Moneytree. I guess the apple or in this case the crab doesn't fall too far from the tree he seems to think he came out from :P

Good thing the Vikings lost their 7th pick because they got Kevin Williams for cheaper and the Ravens got Terrell Suggs. The Jaguars got a bust with Byron Leftwich. Looks like Karma really happens. Also, it was the Ravens who wanted Leftwich, we got lucky there.
