Thats what I was about to say. He's supposedly a Steeler fan. He even raps about it in a song.

Yea, they had him on before the superbowl last year and he was talking about how he liked the steelers when they won in the 70's. So he's a bandwagon fan.

But who won't go to something Ray Lewis invites you to.

Oh gosh. Just what the team needs. We can't keep our receivers healthy, and we bring in distractions like this. This seems sooooo not like something Harbaugh approved. Invite him to a game or something... not training camp!

Pretty sure he just loves football in general. Comes down to business on the field and respect off it

Yeah, I would think that if I were famous, I'd go to games or training camps or whatever for teams that weren't my favorite teams if they asked and I was available. It's an honor to be asked. Just because the Ravens are my team doesn't mean I would snub another team that asked me to put in an appearance.

These practices are open to the public. If there's a spy, it's probably the guy standing
next to you wearing the brand new Flacco jersey.

It was funny and something that definitely breaks up the monotony of camp for the players and, hey, maybe even some coaches, too. Ray still does the break-downs with more passion, fire, and energy than anyone I've ever seen. Sorry Snoop.

I attended trainning camp yesterday with my son because of Rookies day for the kids. I was very impressed how everything was organized and my child had alot of fun. However I was a little unhappy that snoop dogg was in attendance also. The were treating him like he was some kind of hero. What kind of message does this send our children. Yes son thats snoop Dog the musician who is band in two countries due to legal matters such has belonging to a gang to cocaine posession and being tried for murder. The Ravens have also had an image as well as the NFL players being associated with criminals or being hard criminals themselves. The NFL does not need this type of attention and I am dissapointed in Ray lewis for inviting him. Ray is always preaching about being a professional athelete and the resposibilities that go with it and the Company you are keeping. Coach Harbough should not aloowed for this go on in training camp also. Thanks for listening.

Public perception isn't always reality. Yes all of those things you mentioned about Snoop may be true, however no man or woman on God green earth is prefect or close to it.

So yes Snoop may have been invovled in all those things. However, what able Snoop being a coach for young kids the last 5 years? Why not tell your child about that? He started his Snoop Youth Football League for boys and girls ages 5-13, to help them stay out of touble and give them a outlet from the violence that surround them often. The kids involved must maintain a 2.0 gpa to play. The league has over 2,500 members. Snoop isn't just the face of the league, and the money man, he actually coaches some of the kids.

How about Snoop the husband and father, a family man? Why not tell your son, yes that Snoop, he actually coaches a kids football league. He helps little kids like you learn the game of football and also gives them something to look forward too.

I personally don't think it's a big deal to have Snoop out at camp, as for the message it sends to the children. Well generally our kids learn from us parents, regardless of how the media or television views someone, it is ultimately our respondsiblity as parents to send the right message to our kids.

You see what you want to see about people. Would you say, yes son that's Ray Lewis he was involved in the murder of 2 men? or yea son that's Fabain Washington, he was accused of hitting his girlfriend? No you see the best in those guys.

Please PAULIE4678, don't take this as me questioning your parenting or even telling you how to raise your kid, cause beleive me i'm not qualified. I fight everyday to be a better father. I'm just making a point that having a guy like Snoop at practice isn't that bad. And as far as the message it sends to our children, it's really up to us parents to write that message.
