Bad Omen

18 posts in this topic

Last night I had a dream that I was watching this years Colts/Ravens game. The Ravens lost 116-25. I literally woke up in a panic and immediatley thought the season was a wreck. After a few minutes my head cleared and I remembered that the pre-season games have not yet started. Very releived, I went about my day.

Then I started thinking that this could be a bad sign of things to come. While a 91 point win may be a bit of a stretch, I started to think that it may be a symbol of the upcoming season! :(

Anyway, I do not really beleive in any of this. But I had to mention it to get the bad omen to go away. If I kept this to myself...who knows. :P

I dreams of Peyton being in the fetal position after a Ray Lewis/Gregg/Gnata collision. Can't stand the Colts, the only team I dislike more is Dallas and that's a toss up. Colts must go down this year!

maybe we need to get stomped like that so we can get real mad and just run through the reamining teams that we face all the way to the super bowl. Just a bunch of pissed offf ravens trying to hit somebody.

Last night I had a dream involving Jenny McCarthy and Anne Hathaway. Maybe that's an omen too. Let's all believe in omens!

Sounds more like a symbol of last season. Write it down; Toss the paper in a "worry box" and forget about it.

91 points, that'll never happen.

But if it was to happen, who do you think would be most likely to give up that many points?

I'm going to go with the Saints. Drew Brees could throw for 17 TD's and they'd STILL lose the game.

Of all the teams, I'd have to say......
yeah, I guess I keep coming back to the saints too.

I wouldn't put it past the Colts to come beat up on us again this year. Peyton seems to have our defense's number, they have beaten us basically every year this decade, I wanna say we are something like 1-7 against them this decade (including the 06 playoff loss). It is always the only game whenever I see new season schedules that I go ahead and chalk up as a loss.

I think the Lions could allow that many points or the Raiders or the Rams... there's alot of defensive bottom feeders.
Lol that's kind of how always is with Brees, right? He does his best work during losing games.

I almost did not add this because the few of you who do not think I am crazy would probably think so after this. Or you would think I am lying, which I am not...this is completely true. Last night I had a dream that Peyton Manning was at my house for a family party. He came with one of my cousins or something like that. It was very weird. We didn't talk football, but he was shirtless(and he had bad bacne)and we drank a few beers. This is getting really creepy. Why am I having dreams about the colts TWO DAYS IN A ROW? I do worry about the Colts games every year for the reasons a previous poster stated. But this is borderline obsession. Am I going nuts? Do i need to take some time off of football talk to clear my head? Any psychlogists out there???

Or better yet, he could stop trying to be funny. I prefer 'crazy' people to those who attempt to be funny at the expense of others, but are painfully not.

was thinking more along the lines of the 08 lions vs the 07 patriots..... or you could throw in the bucs when they were winless instead of the lions

ppl don't understand, this world needs crazy people (difference between crazy, and stalkerish/murderer etc) they are the only kind of people that will generally go against logic.... and win :)
