Wow, he's got back to practice quick. I thought it might take him maybe a few days to get settled.

With Mason nothing surprises me anymore after what he went through last season and the whole retirement thing. :D

John Harbaugh has deemed today an "Over 30" day, which means players older than 30 do not practice. LB Ray Lewis is among those players who have the day off.

Duffy updates from the front page:

- It must be "Over-30 Day," as many veterans are not participating in practice. That's includes Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Trevor Pryce, Kelly Gregg and Matt Birk.
- In place of Lewis, linebacker Jameel McClain played middle linebacker, safety Haruki Nakamura filled in for Reed, Dwan Edwards was in for Pryce, Justin Bannan was in for Gregg and a combo of Chris Chester and David Hale played for Birk.
- In addition, receivers Marcus Smith, Thomas White and Biron Ealy are not participating. Smith wasn't even on the field.
- Receiver Kelley Gregg has come off the Physically Unable to Perform list. He is actually putting together a solid day. He's made some good catches and obviously knows how to run tight routes.
- Receiver Mark Clayton and tight end Davon Drew both left practice. Clayton had an ice pack taped to his left hamstring and Drew had a trainer looking at his foot.
- During full-team drills in short-yardage situations, linebacker Prescott Burgess had the hit of the day when he knocked tight end Edgar Jones to the turf.
- Head coach John Harbaugh called for a fourth-and-1 situation that pitted the offensive starters against the defensive starters, and then again for the second string. The first-team ran Ray Rice off the left guard and he bulled his way for a first down. For the backups, a fumbled snap to quarterback Troy Smtih foiled the attempt.
- Cornerback Lardarius Webb made an end zone interception of Smith when the Ravens were executing plays from the 10-yard line.
- So did Nakamura, although that was from Flacco.

Apparently Kelly Gregg plays WR now. :P
I guess he meant Kelley Washington.

Ravens LB Antwan Barnes suffered a concussion and it is uncertain when he will return to practice.

Injury report from The Sun:
Wide receivers Mark Clayton and Demetrius Williams tweaked their left and right hamstrings, respectively, and Clayton was carted off the field with rookie tight end Davon Drew (right foot) midway through yesterday’s morning session. Coach John Harbaugh said Clayton's injury did not seem serious, but said the team is being cautious.

Outside linebacker Antwan Barnes suffered a mild concussion during a full-team drill and lay prone on the turf for about 90 seconds before walking off on his own power. Defensive tackle Lamar Divens was absent for undisclosed reasons.

Fellow wideout Kelley Washington (flu) was activated off the physically-unable-to-perform list.

With 33-year-old center Matt Birk getting a day off as a member of "the 30-plus club," Chris Chester and David Hale rotated at center and right guard with the first offense. Jameel McClain filled in for linebacker Ray Lewis, Haruki Nakamura replaced free safety Ed Reed, and Justin Bannan and Brandon McKinney subbed for defensive linemen Trevor Pryce and Kelly Gregg.

Ravens WR Demetrius Williams continues to have a great camp. The progress he's made during the past year has him in position to have a breakout season.

Ravens WR Kelley Washington is practicing, which means he's recovered from the flu that placed him on the PUP list. He'll be more of a RS this season.
