Offense!

1 post in this topic

Now that Mason is coming back (YAY! :D ) let's look at how the Offense could be much better than last season

1.Flacco has now had a year in Cameron's system, is becoming a leader, from what i have heard he has improved his footwork.
2.The O-line. Matt Birk is an upgrade over Jason Brown, Gaither and Grubbs healthy, the Ravens drafting Michael Oher is huge to protect the right side.
3.Added depth at TE with the signing of L.J Smith, this should keep Heap fresh
4.Mcgahee seems like he's feeling the pressure finally and looking to reclaim his #1 spot on the depth chart.Last time he played like he had something to prove was in '07 hopefully this will yield the same results.
5. Ray Rice bulked up nicely in the offseason, should add some more power to his game
6. Young WR's like Harper and Smith have been getting more reps with the starters, both look like they have some nice potential.I have a good feeling about them.
7.Williams is healthy and has added some size, hopefully that is enough to keep him on the field.
8. Ravens bringing Al Saunders on board as a consultant for the Offense is huge as well, he has been responsible for some very explosive offenses.

I'm not saying that the Raven's Offense this year is going to put up 500 points or anything, but with the Defense and Punter that we have i think we could see the Ravens put up 7 points instead of 3 more often when they get the ball on the other side of the 50.
