I am hopeing that we are looking into Vick. I dont feal that there is a need to and I think it would just bring to much distraction and public relation problems.

We don't need Vick. We already have 3 Quarterbacks on the Roster, One who is pretty much a poor man's version of Vick anyway

Vick would be an attribute to the team, more some of our potential final 53 man roster. Vick will be on one of the 32 teams, no one knows which one yet.

I just hope if he ends up on a team it's the browns. Every time he gets near the end zone the announcers would have to mention Vick & the Dog Pound. priceless......

We can make some loot off of Vick. Let's sign him for a two year deal, get him back in shape, get him a few snaps during blow out games, and then next year we sell him to the highest bidder and use the proceeds for a top notch WR.

Not worth the aggravation, no Vick thread has lasted past 2 days, I can't imagine what would happen if he actually got signed.

i would prefer vick than Troy Smith. Ideally id like to trade Smith for a late 3rd or 4th rounder and then sign vick to a 1 year deal. Smith will eave after this year anyway and why not give our offense a huge spark. Vick has 4.3 speed and is electrifying.

I am 100% for signing Michael Vick

You think he still can run a 4.3 after 2 years out of football? Man he's going to be rusty when he gets on the field.

He may have been able to do that... before he met Bubba.. dun-dun-dun

Anywho, bring Vick in and you also bring the entire media circus, not just NFL Network setting up a little camera; the big boys. People who don't care about football care about Michael Vick, and they would be willing to protest and put on a show any-and-everywhere the team went. Also, he wouldn't be able to play until Week 8 (we have a bye at Week 7 and he's suspended for the first 6). So why, I ask, would we want half a season's work out of a man 2 years removed from the game who brings along the biggest media parade the NFL has ever seen?

If it was a smart idea, it would be done by now...

2 years ago if someone said it would take 2 first round draft picks for the Ravens to acquire Michael Vick, everybody and their mama would have been clamoring for us to make that trade.

Speak for yourself, I never have wanted him on our team.

Overrated then, overrated now. Looks good against crappy defenses, inaccurate and bumbling against good teams.

I'm down with signing Vick.

1) He's washed up, and he rides the bench. No big loss; a worthy experiment.

2) He's still got skills, and drives defenses crazy in Wildcat-like scenarios.

The publicity will fade.

The team is finally shedding the bad boy, lawless image due to Ray and Jamal's legal woes, just would hate to be linked to that circus, let him go to the Raiders .. they don't care who they sign and I would love to see PETA protesters up against some of those nuts from the Black Hole

Agree'd I'd rather stay away from thse type of PEOPLE, let alone this type of player. He turned the ball over too much, too many sacks and we already have 3 good running backs....

So Vick might not have 4.3 speed anymore. But i bet ya he still runs it in the 4.4's
Thats better than Troy Smiths 4.7

And Vick isnt definitly suspended the first 6 games. He could be playing week 1 for crying out loud. Although its unlikely lol.

Vick would be great for us IMO

The only benefit of having Vick would be all the media attention the Ravens would finally get. other than that, we have enough short, fast receivers.

He will not be playing week 1:
Vick, free after serving 18 months in prison for running a dogfighting ring, was reinstated with conditions by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday. He could participate in regular-season games as early as October.

Vick can immediately take part in preseason practices, workouts and meetings and can play in the final two preseason games -- if he can find a team that will sign him. A number of teams have already said they would not.

Once the season begins, Vick may participate in all team activities except games, and Goodell said he would consider Vick for full reinstatement by Week 6 (Oct. 18-19) at the latest

He may apply in week one but I don't see it happening. Goodell left himself a ton of wiggle room

Vick would come at the position fastest in the league, he will be fast enough. Condition doesn't take more than a few weeks, don't be ridiculous. I ran track and now understand flexibility and endurance you can gain in a few weeks.

Regardless of the fact, I'm sure he can fit in somebody's system.

Look at what the mod posted, he's not going to be any closer to the field on Week 1 than the average fan.

Now that would be entertaining!

IT we were to pick up Vick, there would be a completely distracting media circus in Baltimore until well after he started playing, which would be week 8 at best as far as the Ravens are concerned.

He's not worth the hassle.

That's funny. I can;t believe the Ravens are interested in him. Why would we be? We have three QB's already. We don;t need the baggage Vick would bring with him. Can you imagine PETA demonstrating @ M&T. No thanks
