I did not know that Stover had hung up his kicking shoes. Just goes to show that you learn something new every day. I hope that these new kids that we have turn out to be good. It will be strange not seeing Stover out there.

wow this reporter must not know ravens history

in 1999 he (stover) was not with us he was a Raider on a trade only in 2000 did we reaquire him , anyone else remember matts trade mark before he left , mohawk and black fingernails , then he went to oakland and some how became normal then came back. all I remember is gruden told him that year , matt we are professionals here , things quickly changed.

Pretty sure that Matt Stover never had a mohawk and black fingernails, let alone played for any team other than the Ravens/original Browns...

I agree with the first part, but I'm pretty sure that he was drafted by the New York Giants though he didn't technically play for them.
