Game Balls

hmmm my vote goes to the entire Defensive core.....the Defense made sure the Rams were not going to get their first win of the season against them....sacking their QB, 4 times and Intercepcting the Rams 5 times......Defense all the way

Boller and the Defense. #7 made plays and gave stover a career high (tied) number of field goals, while also going for the deep ball and getting Willis a TD. The rookie o-line was doing mediocre against a seasoned one, as Boller was under pressure a lot but I think he did do a good job of managing it. The turnover could be blamed on him for trying to make something happen rather than take the sack but his heads in the right place at least. I enjoyed seeing that ball fly through the air this week, and I only regret not seeing more of them actually caught (cause at least 2 of the missed ones I saw were catchable, 1 D Will dropped, and the other drew a defensive PI flag, which is always nice when it's not you and brings you into the red zone.) I'm disappointed McGahee didn't do more though, he got the number of carries we've wanted from him but his yardage wasn't that impressive on the ground. Stover was perfect as always, and the Defense was on FIRE yesterday....props to Derrick Martin...his pick was the one that broke our franchise record and really just sealed the deal on a very very good defensive day.

I'd give one to Boller just for the beating he took. I wonder if he can stand up and walk today?

Of course we all know who the "star" is, it is of course Brian Billick

and his brilliant play calling. What a stellar offensive genius he is.

All you have to do is watch the Patriots play and you'll see the

difference in what a real coach does and what a supposedly

good coach does. No Contest and that is why when Super Bowl

time comes, the Pats. will be there and The Ravens will be at

the grocery store getting snacks to watch the game on TV.

STEVE B......would you please call Bill Cowher for next year?

Kelly Gregg, one sack, and one fumble recovery, plus I saw him drop back and tackle someone who caught a short pass.

only Billick and the team knows who really got the game ball haha..last week the game ball went to 3 rookie players, but yea i agree, our defense player phenominal football and were turnover machines!

I kept yelling at my friend for going outside to smoke when we were on defense. "This is the more exciting part of the game" I told him. I was getting tired of running outside to tell him what just happened.

Matt Stover for me, I cannot stand when people say "we would have 0 points without him!" because it is simply not true. However, what is true is that an average kicker would have only made 3 or 4 of those field goals, whereas Matty was perfect.

Matt Stover all the way. Stovepipe deserves a 100 ft. bronze statue outside M&T stadium. He's been our offense for years. The Defense was awesome as always, but without Stovepipe we'd be toast!

Someone here posted earlier about Steve B. calling up Bill 'The Chin' Cowher...dont think hes gonna give up his sweet studio 'pressure-free and more money' gig for the headaches of coaching any time soon. How about simply letting Braindead go and promoting Neuheisel? He seems much more involved with the team than the bearded 'Panama Jack'.

I can get on-board with a statue of Stover. Our first step, though, should be to have him replace Byner in the Ring of Honor.

If Cowher came to the Ravens, I must admit I'd lose faith in the organization. What good is a rivalry if the other teams head coach starts coaching your team? if the happened every time we lost to the steelers id say the game was rigged because of him. Cowhers too comfy in his press box anyway

highly doubt Cowher coming here....for one he coached our arch nemeisis the Squeelers lol and won the SB with them back in '05. Plus even if he did, im sure he'd have to deal with the Fans and what not...PLUS we signed Billick to a Contract extension this off-season, so there is no need to worry
