Ravens Defense Got Swagger Back

8 posts in this topic

the Baltimore Ravens Improved their Overall record today by defeating the winless St. Louis Rams 22-3 to advance their record to 4-2 for the season...in a Game that was (in one retro-spect) completely dominated by the opposing Home team. The Ravens Defense, led by Ray lewis who notched 10 tackles.... Continued their excellent play this week, recording 6 turnovers, 5 of which were interceptions, while the other was a forced Fumble caused by Justin Bannan, meanwhile Willis McGahee notched his very first rushing TD of the Season, with a 6 yard run to the outside, when the Ravens offense drove down inside the 10 yard line...notching 61 yards on the ground for the day, While QuarterBack Kyle Boller, who was replacing the Steve McNair due to a Groin Injury and sore back, threw for 185 yards and helped the Ravens Keep the winless rams a bay and in "dis-a-ray".....Ravens needed a win this week and got it....with the Help of their Stellar Defensive Core and a Franchise Record 6 turnovers....Ravens need to continue Their Dominant Defensive Performance next week and continue to improve inside the redzone, when McGahee returns to Buffalo to face his Former Team, the Buffalo Bills, a game in which McGahee will be looking to make a Statement against his former Team.......

I just hope we can go 5-2 into the bye week.

I am scared about the Pittsburgh game after the bye, we play them at home, on National t.v., its a division game, and it will probably rain with our luck.

:D

never ever think negative.....always think positive, if you start to think in a negative way towards things.....things will be ALOT harder for you, you'll get upset over the most littlest of things......and you'll start making mistakes, if you think in a postive way.....then the sky is the limit and there are no limits

lol who knows what'll happen BUT......seeing how our offense is slowly (but surely) getting better, and seeing how our defense has returned itself to its Dominating stature...i see absolutely no reason why we should have a "bad" game....i mean last week our defense had 2-3 sacks and 1 INT, This week our Defense had 4 sacks, 5 Interceptions and a Fumble recovery.....things are getting better for us as a complete "whole"......i would expect next week the Ravens Offense will continue to get better (not like scoring 5 TD's or anything like that) but 1-2 TD's and just "get things back on Track" with everything else

not to take anything away from our defense, but the Rams offense has been beyond horrible so far. Even with Steven Jackson, they weren't really putting points on the board.

With that said, I hope this game puts some confidence back in the team. I was pissed when we lost the shutout though :P

I don't think it matters if the Rams were horrible or not. Against a team like that, you have to make an example out of them. This was the first game of the season I was able to sit back and enjoy, without too much anxiety.
