Ravens Vs. Rams Scouting Report

A few thoughts on "the Intangibles":

Intangibles

The Ravens have yet to put together a complete game this season

It would be nice to see the Offense click as it did against the Jets, with the Defense playing stout as it did against the 49rs.

they are playing their only game of the month at M&T Bank Stadium,

October is the best football weather, yet we only get one home game out of four weekends? Why does the NFL schedule byes in October, anyway? Wouldn't it make more sense to have them later in the season, when the players are more worn out and could benefit more from the extra week off?

at M&T Bank Stadium, where they are an NFL-best 44-14 since 2000. They are 2-0 against the NFC West this season and have won seven of their past eight games against the NFC. One of three winless teams in the NFL, the Rams have been at their worst on the road. St. Louis has lost its two road games this season by a combined score of 59-10.

On paper, this should be a massacre. But I don't believe the 9.5 point spread.

i agree that this game looks like an "easy" game for the Ravens... seeing how we are facing a team that is 0-5...but not necessarily, they are a dangeruos team that just has made TOO many mistakes to win Football games here....nothing in this game should be taken for granted here....we have our own problems here and need this win.....and this week we are looking to continue to be a Dominant defense after last weeks performance, AND look for the offense to start making those vitle plays in which we need to make/convert in the critical situations....red zone...and with Todd back, should make the defense cover him more, freeing up a another man or 2 long enough for our QB to make a Play and a score

i was just watching the latest Injury Report about the Games today and noticed that for the Baltimore match up with the Rams, Steve McNair was not on the injury inactive list.....so there is a High Possibility that he will get the nod to Start

Maybe I'm being a little critical, but I wasn't happy that Gus frerote got 200 yards on us (even if it came with 5 picks)

Also nice to see that matt stover tied a career best five FG in a game.
