Game Balls

Stover definantly gets one, but if 2 could be given out, the next would go to the O-line stepping up. 3/5 men on O-line were rookies, only 2 penalties and no sacks.

my game ball goes to the D and McGahee. Our run game wore down the clock and McGahee was the majority of our offense and produced nicely with over 100 yards on the day. The D shut down Dilfer and Gore most of the game, besides the two late miracle throws I know him for when he was our qb. hard played injury-riddled game but I really like how our o-line adjusted to those injuries....

No questions it's Stover. He hit the long one, I think around 50 yards, that practically won us the game. I'll give credit when credit is due, McGahee kept us in the game with his total yards. If we still had J.Lewis, we probably would have lost.

im going with mcgahee he did awsome even though a low scoring game he played his part well with a busted up O-line

It doesn't matter if they're busted up, they looked a hell of a lot better than the "healthy" offensive line in the season opener. The O-line has done a tremendous job this season all things considered and they get the game ball for me.

Kelly Gregg--6 tackles, 1 sack. Anyone remember the play where he chased down Frank Gore (either him or some wideout) IN SPACE? The man is a helluva nose tackle and all around football player.

im gonna have to go with Stover as well....he bounced back very well from last week and was able to kick those field goals effectively...another game ball i guess would have to go to the Defense for finally getting some what back into a groove, notching (i think, not postive) 3 or 4 sacks..and an Interception from Big Ed Reed ......all of which were crucial plays if you really think about it (the sacks and the INT)

O - McGahee, obviously. Had nearly as many yds as the entire 49ers team.

D - Jarrett Johnson. Blew up a bunch of running plays, made a sack, and forced a fumble.

SPT - Stover. No other choice, IMO

I'm going to give one to the hundreds and hundreds of Ravens fans who made the trip all the way out there. There was a HUGE section of Ravens fans in the endzone and it really pumped up the defense. You could tell that they were impressed with the turnout and they "played" to the fans...waving, clapping, pointing after every big defensive play.

hey all check this out...

McNair 20th in league with 80.2 rating

Willis 3rd leading rusher with 464yards and 0TD (rushing)

Mason 1st in league with receptions 44 but 13th in yards with 372 with 8.5avg.

Offense is 11th in league with 346.2yds a game but 18th in league in points

but all that really matters is that we are 3-2

If the season would end today AFC playoffs is

New England (div. winner)

Pittsburgh (div. winner)

Indy (div. winner)

Oakland (div. winner)

interesting huh?

Jacksonville (wild card)

Tennessee (wild card)

I'd give the game ball to Stover as well, especially coming off a bad game the week before against the Browns. I also liked seeing Jarrett Johnson making some plays. I was questioning whether he could fill in for Thomas for a while. I hope he plays more games like he did on Sunday.

A little off topic, when they replayed Dilfer going nuts after scoring the TD. I'm pretty sure it was because he hadn't scored a TD in about 3 years.

For me , Mason has got to be up there. 11 catches, and SF had 12 altogether. I Dont think he'll be complaining about the amount of balls thrown at him this year. :P
