Predict The Score

17 posts in this topic

amen to that....pray for a win, thats what really matters...BUT if i had to choose some sort of score i think i would have to go with Ravens: 20 49ers: 10....i feel like this is the game in which we are going to show the Fans what the Ravens are all about, something will show out there on sunday, whether offensively or defensively...im hoping that McGahee gets more Carries and breaks the Century mark for the 2nd time this season with last weeks performance of 104 yards...IF we hold onto the Football and have ALOT less turnovers, hopefully he can follow that up with a really good game this week..i also Hopefully think that we have gotten pretty much all the "jitter bugs" out of our system and there will be (god willing) no turnovers or at LEAST a severe cutback on the turnover ratio from the previous weeks.....we can only move forward from week to week, hopefully this game will be a stepping stone for us as a whole and as a Team

There's going to be a lot of emotional sub-plots with this game.

Frank Gore probably wants to have a good outing and do better than his old teammate Willis McGahee.

Trent Dilfer, Mike Nolan, and Marques Douglas all want to pick up a win against their former team.

Both the Ravens AND the 49ers are desperate for the W.

I can't wait for Sunday! Best of luck to you guys and I pray for an injury free game. We're really hurting right now!

im gonna go with ravens: 20 and 49ers: 13 im still shocked of last weeks lost so i dont realy wanna go there but from what ive herd the 49ers have one of the worst offenses in the league so i dont realy think we wil have trouble playing defence but how will our offense do? i dont know either... we will prey and see.... ;)

haha yeah those subplots will only be there for us fans to speculate about. the only one of those people who may be affected is Dilfer...and that's only because he said that when he came here with the Browns a few years back as the starter, the emotion of being cut by us after he gave us a super bowl messed with his game (it was like 17-3 that game).

apparently he's over it now and everybodys apologized and w/e the nonsense is but the difference will be that the Ravens have poise and never let the drama effect them. they go out and play honestly brutal defense and give it their best shot on offense. they''ve been doing pretty amazing actually. they run the ball on the other team constantly downfield but their only problem is they can't capitalize. Once they turn that around everything will click.

As for the niners, i gotta say i respect the organization, as Young and Montana were some of the top quarterbacks (and some of my favorites as well) that this league has seen. It's a shame y'all have had so many injuries but you have a pretty good team, once the youngin's mature it'll be a hell of a team to stop. Anyway on a semi-personal note Mike Nolan's son was friends with my brother when he was in Baltimore, so I wish him luck this season but when he plays us I of course hope he loses :)

now for sunday's matchup... With Smith gone and Dilfer in, coupled with the injuries to the Niners team, will be too much for them to handle as the Ravens will hunger for and reach the endzone a couple times this game. McGahee will have a big game imo, I think he's getting MUCH more comfortable back there.

Here's to an injury free game all!

Ravens over 49ers 23-13

If you all don't give the ball to Willis and let him carry your offense there is something seriously wrong.

No clue on score but this should be a "W" that would favor Baltimore IMO.

Ravens 23 49ers 10.

well, all I can say is if they do not play better than last week, they will lose

and come home for another robotic, boring press conference all about how

they didn't play well and need to execute better brought to you by none other

than the "puppetmaster" himself Mr. Billick... He is so predictable with what

he is going to say.....almost like his play calling, very bland and sooooo

vanilla.

McGahee's running game has steadily gotten better and better with each game, so i would expect Him to continue to keep it going and (as i said above, if everything goes well enough) McGahee will get more carries, therefore resulting in an increased role in the offense and letting him be the "playmaker" we all know and have seen him be, breaking tackles, running for big gains, scoring Touchdowns.....

Ravens: 20 Niners: 17. McGahee runs one in and Heap catches another. Stover adds another two as the niners get two touches and a field goal.
