thought that this was a interesting read about the upcoming matchup between the 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens...

"Despite nursing a groin injury, veteran quarterback Steve McNair put up 307 yards through the air to march his unit inside of the Browns 30-yardline on six possessions...."

thoughts?

Neat read, but they failed to mention that McNair had 50+ attempts :P

I didn't know the Ravens currently have a top 10 offense (according to their little chart thing near the bottom), that's pretty cool.

our offense will get back on "Track"....starting with this week...i think we can really dominate on BOTH sides of the ball once Offense and Defense smooth things out...we are going to be a STRONG force with whatever unit is out on the field....thats for dang sure

Don't underestimate the 49ers defense. If our offense even somewhat shows up, you guys are going to have a game on your hands. Don't forget to watch #52 on our side of the ball. Willis says he has always looked up to Ray Lewis and would love to one day be considered in the same calibur.

what i meant by our offense getting back on track starting this week, is that progressing in the right direction. simply stating the Obvious, that our offense shows signs of improvement from week to week...starting this week...i do not expect our offense to EXPLODE into the scene and what not, thats not what i said, simply stating we are hoping to be moving in a postive direction and not going backwards....i know all about Willis, i know that he is a hard hitter LB, one who has extreme talent and potential, but like Ray has always said....its a Team offort, 1 player doesnt make a Defense...it takes a complete team effort of Focus and dedication

yea i heard that he did practice today....from the Billick interview after practice video....also heard some news of Pryce, that he is definately out this week but MIGHT be be next week..great news to hear..the cast is off and right now billick said, and he also said that Pryce is getting back into "Shape" to play...saying that Pryce COULD play in this game and tough it through the pain and possibly risk more serious damage or wait and be safe until its healed completely

I can tell he wears his name number and plays his position. Scary the guy must be obsessed with Ray Lewis. But he is a good player Patrick Willis is. But he will never in his Career surpass Ray Lewis I can put money on that for 12 years or so down the road. Ray will stay the best MLB probably for decades in the NFL. I cannot wait for Ray and Ogden to ENTER the HALL OF FAME TOGETHER!!.

i was the reading an article about the upcoming match up between the 2 teams in the Cecil Whig and came across this part in the article....

" Nolan's four years with Billick provided a wealth of information for the aspiring head coach. He Learned management skills and coaching theory, and he inherited a bit of Billicks unconventional streak in game planning---All assests Nolan used to put the 49er's back on the road to respectability. 'You Look at what they've done in Baltimore, and its a really solid organization'. said 49ers Assistant Head Coach Mike Singletary, who left the Ravens along with Nolan. 'I know Mike has tried to install over here a lot of what they've done out there. They're a Great example to use...."

thought that was pretty interesting to read about
