Week 4: Baltimore Ravens At Cleveland Browns

I am very amazed at the lack of downfield play calling. Our front 3 cannot get any pressure on McNair at all (just as we haven't been able to get pressure on anyone at all this season) and yet, it's like McNair is throwing these 5-7 yard dumpoffs. Play calling you think or just him not being able to make the deep throw? Maybe both?

no just cuz he knows, billick knows and I KNOW that he will throw a pick..IF he goes deep...if he makes a complete deep pass will be liek a 1 out of 10 chances just because werre horrible on deep plays and 3rd and long

Maybe im wrong, but I dont think its so much of Billick as it is McNair. Boller has performed well with quite a few deep passes down the middle which McNair has not been capable of doing. I say let Boller start and have McNair work on Troy Smith.

I have also not been happy with our O-Line lately, like a few of you guys said earlier, I think the line has to work on opening gaps for McGahee, they have performed decently but have things to work on imo.

I'm no offensive genius like Billick , but if I had a back averaging seven yards a carry I think I could find more than seven touches. Just wondering how many drives today have ended with a McNair incompletion?

I believe our penalties and turnovers has just about put this game out of reach. Three possession games for the Ravens. I can't imagine Steve McNair getting three td's all in the fourth quarter. Rely on our Dfense, Special Teams, and Kyle Boller. We need a change to possibly get us back in this game. Kyle Boller may be the change we need, he has earned it. Too late to run McGahee time is a huge factor.

I just don't understand. At this point I don't think we have a chance of winning. SO, it can't get any worse, so put in Kyle. Give him a chance. What is he gonna do? throw an interception and NO touchdown passes? Oh wait, that's what we got already. The D is playing as hard as they can right now, but they can't win the game for the Ravens right now. It has to come from the O.

Also, does anyone else notice that Mason always runs 2-3 yards backwards every time he catches a pass. What is up with that?

McGahee has GOT to me more involved in your offense IMO. Not just running the ball, maybe some screen plays or endarounds or something. He's just too dynamic to only be used what, 13 times now in the game? I think that right there is something your offensive playcalling people need to work on. It can't be on McNair's (Or Boller's) shoulder the whole time.
