I haven't seen him kicking off, where is he? Did we cut him?

i dont think we cut him, i think that right now he's on the roster as a "insurance" kicker/player....like those Long Long field goals, and having his fresh leg and power, we'll most likely use him in those type of situations

I heard that he was supposed to be our Kick off, kicker. We all know Stover cant get it in the end zone, but Lloyd can. So I dont get it.

I cant find much about him, but I will try and do some more reasearch. I think we may have cut him because of injuries.

I'm pretty sure its injuries. If you listen to Billicks press conferences he talks about having to activate an extra lineman and LB because of injuries/inexperience when asked about not having Mike Anderson active, so I guess it would be the same for carrying a "luxury" KO specialist to the active 45 man roster.

No, he hasn't been cut, they just haven't been able to activate him on game day. He's still on the roster in case anything (God forbid) should happen to Stover. Also, later in the year Lloyd might be activated to give Stover a rest. Right now we can afford to let Lloyd ride the pine.

we have a lot of backups filling in for starting roles so Lloyd probably won;t get a solid start until all that is sorted out

oh believe me....when it comes down to the Long 50 yard or more game winning field goals....he will be a luxury to have hehe

Stover's leg should be stronger now, early in the season, so Lloyd becomes superfluous. I'm sure we'll be seeing Lloyd doing kick-offs, and possibly long FGs, late in the season, especially during the playoffs.

i would expect him to come in for those 50 yard or 60 yard field goal attempts (i say attempt because he hasnt made them yet lol) later on in the season i could see Lloyd coming in for those kinds of attempts and for kick offs....letting Stover continue to come in for those 45 yard and under field goal try's

I guess I am happy. As long as he is still with us, then I'm fine. I can't wait to see our potential kicker in action come late season.

idk.......i honestly dont know...we SHOULD'VE brought him in the game when we had the chance, Stover didnt have it at all today....we might have been better with Lloyd...thats for sure (at least in this one)

stover missed 2 of them....he might have kicked it off the side of his foot or something but all i know is that we should've put Lloyd in from the first missed Field goal....scoring was horrible in this one for us......NEEDS SERIOUS WORK!!

i would like to think that Billick would have Floyd on the sidelines ready to go, if need be....today was a prime example, in which we needed him...
