I Like To See An Politics And Current Events

Not going to happen. Politics is WAY too divisive. We want nice, friendly, forums. Current Events can be discussed in Off-Topic as long as the discussion does not turn political.

I hate political discussion (in general) because it's like adults picking sides and bickering like children sometimes. Political leanings like "liberal" and "conservative" are used as insults and amount to name-calling these days. It's worse on the internet because people will say the most hateful things and feel that there's no consequence whatsoever. And for what? Just because someone wants to say they're right and thinks someone else is wrong.

Which is why I like things the way they are here. We can converse in a civil manner without having to bring political ideologies to the table. And no one gets their feelings hurt...much.

We don't have forums for any of the other team sports, why would we have one for politics?

Please remember that these are the Baltimore Ravens' forums. Other sports are perfectly welcome in "Off-Topic" and are often discussed there. Our primary focus is and will continue to be our Ravens.

We have a ton of political threads on the Steelers forum and let me assure you that they all contribute a fair amount of hate and discontent. I'm glad there are none here.
