What exactly didnt Rice show?
It's nothing against Rice but most of his playing time was in the second half on a tired defense. I hope he works out for us in the long run but I dont think he should or even could be a starter for us this year.

I am curious to see the recievers especially Harper and Smith. I will be attending the camp on July 31st (this Friday).

Also curious to see the Tight Ends, who I think will be a huge part of our recieving group this year.

Things I'd like to see...

Oher at 330lb, laying the pimp hand down

WRs stepping it up and making our CBs work, Smith and Harper especially (DWill is going to hand one of them his job :P )

Willis McGahee in good shape

Kelly Gregg at 100%

Terrell Suggs video blogs/skits

No red-shirts
D Will is going to be olur #1 by mid season if Mason doesnt come out of retirement. Clayton couldnt get open all last year. Smith and Harper will fight it out for the #3 spot.

Has anyone watched Flacco during camp so far. The guy just can't stop smiling. He's the most relaxed player I have ever seen. Every pass, every handoff he has this grin on his face. He looks like he is having fun.

I haven't been out to camp, but just from watching video interviews from Joe, he seems to have full control of this offense.

He sounds like a 7-8 year vet. I loved the way he handled the whole Mason situation and this comment he made about DWill.....

McGahee and Grubbs activated - Reed is wearing a red shirt, Nakamura is filling in for Reed in team drills...
The players currently on the Ravens' PUP list are: wide receivers Kelley Washington (flu) and Yamon Figurs (foot); Marshal Yanda (knee); cornerback Samari Rolle (groin and shoulder); offensive tackles Adam Terry (knee) and Joe Reitz; and linebacker Jason Phillips (knee).

"Big turnout for Ravens' first full-team practice

I've been to the opening day of every Ravens training camp and I've never seen a turnout like the one I've already seen this morning. I arrived at the track at McDaniel College at 6 a.m, and the parking lot was packed. According to one of the security guards, folks started pulling in around 5:30. By 7 a.m, some of the fans were already chanting, "Steelers Suck, Steelers Suck."

I really see Harper getting the number 2 spot if Mason doesnt come back. He has been almost catching everything. Our team looks so damn fast and so jacked!

You guys gotta see it in person, words cant describe it.

That being said, I don't think Figurs or John Beck will make the team. I also believe Ayanbadejo might be going as well. There is too much talent that can be efficient as a position player and ST than to have just an average LB and stand out ST.

I noticed today that D. Williams dropped at least 4 passes that I saw. Heap dropped 2 of them as well. I did see Troy Smith get picked off and then chase down Nakimura and shove him out of bounds. After he got knocked out, he chucked the ball at Troy and they had some choice words for eachother but then Cam calmed Troy down. This practice was fun to watch since they worked alot on the long ball. Flacco definitely can throw the best deep ball. It looks so nice when he lets one fly thirty yards.

Both the backs were hitting the holes hard, but Rice looked better. Gano looked alright, I think he missed a 36 yarder. When they were trying to hit the goal posts from the side of the field, only Haushka (sp?) hit it. Didn't really notice Kruger. Oher looked fine. Clayton caught some deep balls from Flacco. Didn't notice Foxworth.
