So...I'm watching The T.O. Show on VH1 right now, and I'm disgusted by what I'm seeing. Not necessarily by T.O., but his so-called publicist "friends."

They're [i]so[/i] fake. Whenever the cameras are on, it's so obvious that they're playing a part and going through the motions, and for a second, I almost felt bad for T.O. that he's surrounded by such lecherous individuals. I mean, what publicist has fancier accessories than their client??? Plus, they always talk in what I call "Hollywood Mode" where their voices and mannerisms are exaggerated for effect.

If they really [i]are[/i] old friends, these two publicists are prime examples of why people should rarely go into business with friends. They're obviously not doing a whole lot for T.O.'s image, and the fact that they are enablers of his ego doesn't help.

Anyone else get this vibe from the show?

I watched it...and I will probably continue to watch it. But yes it does seem very fake/set up. The show seems to be set up like most VH1 reality shows (as well as E! & MTV shows for that matter) are. The producers come up with a "plot" for the episode and then the cast just kinda goes with it and then the producers edit it to fit their storyline concept.

Terrell Owens is a selfish fool, I'm sick of hearing about the guy. It must really get under his skin that no-one considers him a top 5 receiver in the league anymore.

I think they ranked him at #8 on espn the other day, right?
