  1. brax in the 2nd is a reach, however, jaylon smith, spence, and thompson is a freaking HAUL and our defense would do a complete 180, and william jackson is another guy who i think is a day 1 starter and would be great for us but i think hes a pipe dream in the 3rd round, i think he goes mid 2nd and with a combine could even slide up and bypass fuller
  2. here is my draft. Doesn't look terrible.... Defense wins Championships! 6: R1P6 DE DEFOREST BUCKNER OREGON 36: R2P5 S DARIAN THOMPSON BOISE STATE 70: R3P7 OLB KYLER FACKRELL UTAH STATE 105: R4P6 C MAX TUERK SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 131: R4P32 CB XAVIEN HOWARD BAYLOR 134: R4P35 CB CYRUS JONES ALABAMA 135: R4P36 WR KENNY LAWLER CALIFORNIA 178: R5P39 OLB VICTOR OCHI STONY BROOK 185: R6P7 ILB JARED NORRIS UTAH
  3. Darian Thompson just has that feel for me that he will be a Raven. I felt that way with C.J Mosley and Courtney Upshaw. Not that I knew that we would draft them, but I just had that feeling. With that said I wouldn't be opposed to him at all. I like Buckner, I have him as my #6 and he seems like a BPA pick which could contribute to filling in a need soon. Though I prefer to get a guy like Ramsey, Stanley, and Smith, I surely wouldn't be opposed to Buckner who I think could make the argument as a top 5 prospect.
  4. 1st - Titans Laremy Tunsil OT 2nd - Browns Carson Wentz QB 3rd - Chargers Joey Bosa OLB 4th - Cowboys De'Forest Buckner DE 5th - Jaguars Jalen Ramsey CB/S 6th - *TRADE* Rams Jared Goff QB Rams Trade 15th , 43rd and 2017 1st for Ravens 6th overall 7th - 49ers La'Quon Treadwell WR 8th - Dolphins Myles Jack LB 9th - Buccaneers Vernon Hargreaves III CB 10th - Giants Ezekiel elliott RB 11th - Bears Ronnie Stanley OT 12th - Saints A'Shawn Robinson DT 13th - Eagles Paxton Lynch QB 14th - Raiders Leonard Floyd OLB 15th - Ravens Noah Spence OLB **TRADE** 22nd Ravens Jaylon Smith LB Ravens trade their 2nd round, 4th round and 2017 5th round for Texans 22nd overall (Rams pick) 2nd - Darian Thompson FS 3rd - Sterling Shepard WR (Broncos pick) 4th - Cyrus Jones CB Giving up the 6th overall would suck but with Tunsil, Bosa, Ramsey and Buckner gone there isn't a player I would be ecstatic to take at 6. Moving back gives us more higher end picks this year and also get the Rams 1st round next year.
  5. its just fantastic but not realistic )) floyd , thompson , shepard , dahl , schobert , jones... cmn guys ! if we get this players , i don't care who we pick in 1st round)) eliott pretty good )
  6. This would be great, but I think Houston would ask a bit more moving from 22 to out of the first round. We did accept moving back from 29 to the 2nd Round with Minnesota for a fourth but it seems that Houston would like a bit more. I don't know I just feel that way. This is my best case scenario, if a team offers a future first I would absolutely move back, then only one who would make me consider to stay is Tunsil. Jaylon Smith is currently my #3 guy behind Tunsil and Ramsey, I would jump in joy if we traded back and nabbed him. Him and Hargreaves are my guys this year. Those two I'm really hoping fall to us if we trade back. That said, to get Spence and Smith would be fantastic. I really like both guys but I do think we would rather go for a CB rather than Darian Thompson(Whom I'm a fan of) but then again, he could become a really good player so I can see us taking him. I can see him pushing Webb out.
  7. OK, I probably should have explained my choices after all. I agree this draft is a little original to say the least, but pretty much everything has been said about Treadwell, Buckner and co... So a little change sounded good. Gonna get bashed but no regrets! I - According to some sources, Eliott is considered by scouts as a rare talent, on pair with Gurley's, minus the ACL. This might be bold but to me NYG will take him if he falls to them. II - The last time Ozzie picked this high, he took a RB that carried the offense. We don't have that right now. The running game has been bad all season long, and that's because, as good as Allen and Forsett were, they can't carry it. Allen has a damn special talent as a double threat, but he averaged something like 3.9 yds/carry. That's not enough. Everyone kept saying we need a playmaker, Eliott is one of the biggest available to me. III - As much a we need pass rushers and CB, it doesn't mean we must get one in the 1st round and for two reasons: 1) There isn't any CB or OLB worth the 6th pick at this point. Ramsey and Bosa are the only two worth it and by my predictions they're gone. I'm still not sold on Spence at 6. 2) What we lacked at OLB was depth. If we had depth, Doom could have been used on 3rd downs only, and Z could have been put in a more confortable position. What we lacked in the secondary was a playmaking FS. Jimmy and Shareece were good in the second half of the year, they didn't give up the big plays that killed us in the first half. We just lacked turnovers, and that's because Lewis was a non factor and got only flags. Change him for Thompson and we're good, really.
  8. Hate the first pick but love the rest of the draft. Big Thompson fan
  9. im not gonna do mocks yet as the combine isnt here yet and theres too many moving parts to repeatedly do mocks, so im gonna make a big board as i see things right now, for the ravens specifically... tier 1 1. Laremy Tunsil 2. Joey Bosa 3. Jalen Ramsey 4. Deforest Buckner tier 2 5. Ronnie Stanley **Jaylon Smith**(talent and need based, no numeric ranking due to injury) 6. Noah Spence 7. Vernon Hargreaves 8. Laquon Treadwell 9. Mackensie Alexander 10. Myles Jack tier 3 11. Reggie Ragland 12. Ezekiel Elliott 13. A'shawn Robinson 14. Andrew Billings 15. Kevin Dodd 16. Leonard Floyd 17. Corey Coleman 18. Shaq Lawson 19. Taylor Decker 20. Tyler Boyd 21. Kendall Fuller tier 4 22. Eli Apple 23. Emmanuel Ogbah 24. Michael Thomas 25. Yannick Ngakoue 26. Jack Conklin 27. Will Fuller 28. Adolphus Washington 29. Kentrell Brothers 30. Robert Nkemdiche tier 5 31. Sterling Shepard 32. Shilique Calhoun 33. Jason Spriggs 34. Austin Johnson 35. Joshua Perry 36. Josh Doctson 37. Darian Thompson 38. Sheldon Day 39. Vonn Bell 40. Carl Nassib 41. Jayron Kearse 42. William Jackson and ill stop right there. as you can see this is personal preference and team needs is a huge factor in this. i think in the first round we will get someone from tier 1 or 2, combine results pending we may be able to land a tier 2 prospect in round 2 although its unlikely, but i think we are nearly certain to land a tier 3 prospect in round 2, and i think we can get one of the remaining guys in round 3.
  10. Not Sure how many versions I will have but seems fitting with Senior Bowl wrapping up. However, I will say i did not get to see as much as usual as the coverage in Canada is hideous, so only recaps on NFLN. Big Board 1. Laremy Tunsil | LT 2. Jalen Ramsey | CB 3. Joey Bosa | Edge 4. Laquon Treadwell | WR 5. Ronnie Stanley | LT 6. DeForest Buckner | DL 7. Noah Spence | Edge 8. Vernon Haergraves | CB 9. Mackensie Alexander | CB 10. Myles Jack | LB 11. Jaylon Smith | LB 12. Sheldon Rankins | DL 13. Reggie Ragland | LB 14. A'Shawn Robinson | DL 15. Eli Apple | CB 16. Corey Coleman | WR 17. Andrew Billings | DL 18. Kendall Fuller | CB 19. Emmanuel Ogbah | Edge 20. Kevin Dodd | Edge 21. Jarran Reed | DL 22. Jack Conklin | OL 23. Robert Nkemdiche | DL 24. Taylor Decker | OT 25. Vernon Butler | DL 26. Darian Thompson | S 27. Carl Nassib | Edge 28. Michael Thomas | WR 29. Jason Spriggs | OT 30. Kenny Clark | DL 31. Shaq Lawson | Edge 32. Leonard Floyd | Edge Mock Draft 1) Titans: Laremy Tunsil | LT 2) Browns: Jared Goff, QB 3) Chargers: Jalen Ramsey | DB 4) Cowboys: Carson Wentz | QB 5) Jaguars: DeForest Buckner | DL 1st Round: Joey Bosa | Edge | Ohio St. Of what I now call the big three (Tunsil, Bosa & Ramsey) I think Bosa has the best shot at getting to us. As many have said he may not have that quick twitch or skill set that will make teams in the top 5 pull the trigger but he is a football player. As most know he has seen double teams and more and has done well still, it says a lot to his preparation and ethic. 2nd Round: Kendall Fuller | CB | VT I think his testing/ showing he has come back from injury is big for him. If he runs and looks healthy I can see him being a top 20 type pick. Athletically everything is there, but he has some major issues in not turning his head and getting off blocks at times...I could see him having a difficult transition with the NFL rules. I do think Leslie Frazier would be a great coach though to bring him along. 3rd Round: *Trade late rounder to move up* Will Fuller | WR | Notre Dame I always get weary when I see size numbers like his but with the way he plays there really should be no reason he cannot make an impact. He really is a playmaker and we desperately need someone to not only push the defence vertically but also make defences cover horizontally (in the flats, on screens, end arounds, etc.). I am really looking forward to seeing him at the combine as he has some kicks on film, especially once in the open field. He reminds me so much of the type of WR the Steelers have been hitting on and making a living the past couple of years with Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, and Markus Wheaton. Lets hope we can finally make a mid round WR--I like Trestman for getting the ball in the hands of players on the outside, sometimes a little too much though. 4th Round: Matt Ioannidis | DL | Temple Has looked really good at the Senior Bowl, we always seem to draft atleast a couple guys from there, he seems like the kind we like. One of my favourite players, think he will do well with coaching. Not sure if he will be able to crack our depth but we should be having some changes in the next year or two with Urban needing to show if he can stay healthy and Canty gone. 4th round (from Trade): Joe Dahl | OG | Washington St. Another guy I have enjoyed watching over the Senior Bowl. Has good size, solid technique and great attitude. Think he will turn into a solid starter in the NFL and may be able to be our future at LG in a couple years with Urschel on the inside. 4th round (Comp.): Jordan Jenkins | Edge Upshot will likely be gone, Jenkins seems to be a spitting image of him. We need guys on the edge that can stop the run and give breathers to our pure rushers. Think he will be a great role player that allows our D to both stay physical and rotate our players for what they are best at. 5th Round (Comp.): Jonathon Jones | CB | Auburn Of all the "non names" at the Senior Bowl he caught my eye. He is fluid, quick, and looks to be a guy who can cover those agile slot receivers. I really hope we double dip at CB as we have banked too much on health for a couple years now with it not going too well. ...gonna stop there..
  11. No Oakman? lol jk. Think I like Thompson more than you do. I only see us getting Coleman, Boyd or Fuller in the second round from tier 3. And probably only Yannick from tier 4.
  12. Welcome! Second round is a reach although I like Thompson, and I think a lot of players will bypass tread on Ozzie's board, that one kinda depends on who's available there. I like Joe schobert a lot but I feel like he's more an early 4th guy. Good choice of players but I feel like a lot of them may lack value as a lot of these guys are at least a half round ahead of where they should be
  13. the only one I might include on that list is Buckner. But yeah no way Ozzie takes treadwell if Ramsey is on the board. I like the rest a lot. I just don't think jack will go that high and I'm almost convinced the Cowboys will take wentz unless the Browns grab him first. But I'd be real happy with treadwell , fuller, yannick, striker, and jones. Very solid. My ideal scenario would be Ramsey - trade up to get spence..sterling Sheppard ..Thompson ..Dahl and jones then we'd have to pick up an ILB in FA.
  14. Urcshel And Jensen both played well I think either could fill in and S we have to many now we are projecting Hill at SS with Elam backing up and Webb at FS with Brooks backing up plus that still leaves Lewis in the mix. I like Bush from Miami as a ball hawk and Thompson from Boise St other than that I'm not super impressed with a lot of he safeties
  15. I like Thompson in The 3rd, top 2nd is a pretty huge reach for him I think.
  16. I'm with you man... My only sure favorites are Darian thompson for the 2nd and sterling Shephard in the 3rd. Those two might be my favorite prospects. The first round is just a big mystery to me.
  17. Would be nice if he fell to round 4. That Would be a steal and would allow us to grab Either a guy like Thompson or a Pass rusher that may Slide into the third. Boyd and Sheppard? Would be cool but i Just dont See oz double dipping at Wr In rounds 2 And 3..too much Value elsewhere.
  18. Would be nice if he fell to round 4. That Would be a steal and would allow us to grab Either a guy like Thompson or a Pass rusher that may Slide into the third.
  19. i could have sworn he was under a tender, but still, different story, same ending lol. as far as multiple guys go... i wouldnt mind seeing ramsey and then apple or fuller in the 2nd, or darian thompson in the 3rd, i think that would be a damn good way to say we are forreal about fixing the secondary and i think it would work.
  20. i was exaggerating when i said he just covers the slot lol, just a generalization to get my point across. and i know he has shown his fair share against the run, but i also think he has shown his fair share of bad play against the run as well. and you mentioned shaq thompson, but you admitted he was in a 4-3, its just a whole different ball game playing 4-3 olb. he may be able to bulk up, ill admit he doesnt look maxed out, but if were talking about a LB who makes a living on his speed and explosion, then i dont think you can bank on him being able to bulk up 15 lbs and retain all of that same skill set at 6th overall, i mean we know that underweight ILBs can very well struggle in our system, im just not sold on spending a 6 on a guy who may be a liability on first and 2nd down. but for those who do like him, i totally understand, just not my cup of tea.
  21. Baltimoreravens.com, NFL.com, ESPN and Rotoworld all have Mosley at 235. I acknowledged Jack's listed weight may not be right and we'll have to wait till the combine, but I still don't think he's like miniature. I'm no physical trainer or anything, but he also looks like he has room to add a decent amount of muscle and bulk up, something he has probably been doing with his knee keeping him sidelined. Shaq Thompson played great this season at linebacker, albeit in a 4-3, at only 230. That doesn't sound as bad when you consider it was Logan Thomas, the guy who's 6'6 250 lbs, which by the way is bigger than Cam Newton. It was a bad play, but those just happen sometimes. I've seen him show power as a linebacker (Here's one example) and as a running back (I know it's different, but still you can see he has it). I think he has great instincts against the run and has the ability to shed blocks - example. Also interesting to note that both of those plays came when he was lined up as a traditional linebacker. Seems like we just disagree on him as a prospect which is fine, but he does a lot more than just cover the slot.
  22. I actually have been warming up to Ramsey again, I'm just done considering the downsides which realistically haven't even been proven(absence of evidence is not evidence of absence regarding his ability to cover deep) and have been considering the possibilities. Will hill was very inconsistent this year and I think Ramsey can fill his role and blow his cobtributions out of the water and it also knocks one future contract off the books, and I too LOVE darian thompson at fs and would love that combo. I just wish we took derron Smith last year
  23. Much like Belichick, I think Ramsey makes a lot of sense if he's even there because of his versatility. In much the same way the Patriots drafted McCourty to play CB and moved him to FS I can see Ramsey having a similar career start. Then again, if we draft a Thompson or Bell as BPA and they excite us, we can have them play FS. This also means we can let Will Hill move on at the end of his deal, and likely ends the careers of Webb and Lewis in Baltimore, saving us considerable money.
  24. 1)Ramsey- Trade up for floyd- sterling sheppard- dahl- Jones 2)Trade back for treadwell- apple- yannick- bell- dahl- jones 3) Trade back for Alexander- Boyd- Yannick -Howard/Thompson- Dahl- Jones *I'd pick up an ILB with one of our comp picks too.
  25. just stop it, im gettin too excited thinking about the possibilities.Who do you think we would take or be available at 15 though? Alexander? I like the sound of Alexander- Boyd -and Yannick in the first two rounds. That's 3 needs taken care of right off the bat. Then we could go ILB or Thompson in the third and maybe Dahl and Cyrus jones in the 4th and 5th.
