Start Em' Sit Em' Week 11

With the injury to Michael Turner still in question here's my lineup as it stands today.

QB Peyton Manning (Indy) @Bal
RB Justin Forsett (Sea) @ Min
RB/WR Thomas Jones (NYJ) @ NE
WR Calvin Johnson (Det)vs. Cle
Wr Donald Driver (GB) vs. SF
TE Antonio Gates (SD) @ Den
K David Akers (PHI) @Chi
DST Steelers @ KC

On my bench I still have
RB Jason Snellin (Atl) @NYG
WR Chris Chambers (KC) vs. Pit
WR Santonio Holmes (Pit) @KC
WR Michael Crabtree (SF) @GB
DST Saints @TB

I'm pretty set on the QB, TE, and K position, but I'm debating on whether or not I should sit Driver and start Chambers because who else will Matt Cassel throw the ball to with Dwayne Bowe out? As for the DST position I don't know if the Steelers or Saints will rack up more points. Let me know what you guys think and I'll gladly help you out if your in a predicament as well.

Is It Unethical As A Fan To Start Manning Against The Ravens This Week?

Historically, I have tried to avoid starting players against the Ravens because I'm a die-hard fan of my team. But this week, looking at the matchups and the way our defense has played, I may have to start Manning against the Ravens...Is this unethical as a fan?

Is Mcgahee The #2 Even?

Does McGahee have any sort of role in this offense any more? Is he the handcuff worth having for Ray Rice or is LeRon McClain a better bet to take over the carries if Ray Rice were to go down? Or is it someone else?

New Jersey (Not The State): A Difficult Choice!

Hey guys, I've got a tough decision to make. Which should I buy: Joe Flacco, who's been great this year, and looks to be our franchise QB or Ed Reed, who looks like a future HOFer, and has been one of the most exciting defensive players in NFL history?

Does Fantasy Football Take Away From Enjoying Football Games?

I've recently I've reached the conclusion that fantasy does prevent me from just enjoying the football game. I mean don't get me wrong, fantasy football is fun as hell, but I can't wait until the fantasy playoffs are over and I can just relax and watch the game for what it is. Is anyone with me on this one?

Crazy Week 8 For Fantasy Stories

Indeed, a crazy week for fantasy football this week. Funny story from the Monday night Falcons-Saints game. So I started Matt Ryan as my QB this week. He was down 3 pts until Ryan threw a TD pass to Roddy White, but wait! The call was reversed, clearly he didn't have possession of the ball, still down 4 pts. No sweat though, still plenty of time left. Ryan gets the ball back and gets me the yardage to win the game by 2.65 pts. Elam bangs the FG in, Falcons still down 35-27. Unfortunately for me, the Falcons recover the onside kick and I have a gut feeling Ryan's gonna throw the hail mary, all I'm hoping for is that the Saints just bat it down. NO!!!! Ryan's hail mary goes right into Darren Sharper's hands who makes the pick negating 3 pts off my score. Needless to say I lost the game by 0.45 points. I'm interested to know if anyone else has an interesting fantasy story like this.

Which Rb To Start?

I've got 4 RB's and need to start 2 of them this week. Which 2 and why?

Cedric Benson vs. Chicago
Thomas Jones vs. Oakland
Clinton Portis vs. Philly
Rashard Mendenhall vs. Minnesota

I'm leaning toward Benson and Jones, mostly because of their opponents. But that could easily backfire.

Portis, although he's always injured, always plays and does well. But against a division rival, it could be different.

Mendenhall, I just think there's going to be more passing in that game than running.

Fantasy Frustration!

My team was dominating this week, with Ray Rice and Marques Colston having huge games. I had a sizeable lead until Matt Hasselbeck stunk it up for 0 points, compounded my opponent having the Cardinals defense!

I was angered but hoped Matt Forte, who I took with the number 2 overall pick, could save me against a mediocre Falcons run defense. His response: 3 fantasy points, including 15 carries for 23 yards with a fumble.

Fantastic. Furthermore, this IDIOT with probably the worst team in the league is somehow 5-1!!!! He has MJD and seriously no-one else; half his team is off the waiver wires each week! Meanwhile I'm stuck at 3-3.

So I started this thread for those who get equally frustrated at the fickle game of fantasy football. Feel free to vent your frustrations here also!

Wr Issues

I'm having some WR issues, I only want to start 2 receivers but I have 3 great ones.

Who should I sit out of these 3 candidates:

Johhny Knox @ ATL- Great receiver, only playmaker in Chicago (he's a must start for me)

Greg Jennings vs DET- Had some off games, but he's looking to bounce back against Detroits horrible pass D

Eddie Royal @ SD- He's looking like my sit, but he had a great game last week putting up 20 points,he's also on kick returns which should generate alot of points.

Who should I sit?

Who Would You Start At Qb?

I've got Brees and McNabb. Brees at home vs. Giants, McNabb at Oakland. At first I thought no brainer, "gotta play McNabb against the Raiders". But what if the Eagles are ahead by 3 touchdowns at half time? McNabb probably won't play the 2nd half (much like Manning last week against the Raiders). And I'm thinking that New Orleans will struggle to run the ball, so I expect Brees to throw 40 to 50 times during the game (we get 1 point per completion). Thoughts? Who would you start?
