Why does Joe Flacco continue to throw to check-down receivers on the wrong side of the sticks.....even on 3rd down? Why are Matt Elam, Vlad Ducasse & Jeremy Zuttah still on this team? can't we do better? Why can't we manage the clock properly? Why does our team take a leisurely approach with the clock running down? Why do we keep committing idiotic penalties? Doesn't John Harbaugh have some responsibility for our ineptitude? PSL holder for 13 years........tired of this.... UGH!

1:Putting on pads for a non-contact punt team practice does not seem like a "safety violation" to me......if anything the players are more safe wearing the pads in the event of accidental contact in a non contact drill. 2: I have some doubts whether the coaches were pushing the envelope, but if they were the players Union rep has put them on notice that he will report any minor violation of the CBA. 3. My previous post was not a "rant', just my opinion. We lost OTA practices in a previous year due to "violations" ........and I do not want the ravens to lose any of the limited opportunities that they have for practice. 4. We probably cannot release Watson for cap reasons, so from my point of view the best thing that could happen would be that Watson ends up in Harb's dog house. Based on past history, as someone noted in another post, it is very difficult for a player to get out of that dog house. Since Watson wants to adhere to the letter of the CBA, I have a suggestion for Harbs: there are no stipulations in the CBA that you need to give off days for aging veterans later in the season.....so be selective in who you give those off days to....

I understand from what is in the story a player has to report this in order to trigger an investigation. If Watson reported us, I hope we cut him before we are obligated to pay his salary for this season. Fine for him to set the Ravens straight after 5 minutes. Not OK to set the team up for league sanctions based on a 5 minute error.
