  1. Some great posts here on the draft. Overall though, I don't think anyone called it a great draft but more of a wait and see and HOPE it pans out well kind of a draft for the Ravens. Lets face it, Stanley is probably going to be a very good left tackle but if he were so great or the next coming of Jon Ogden, I think Ozzie would have been thrilled to stay at #6 and not have tried to trade up for Jalen Ramsey. Talent wise, Stanley was not the best LT in the draft.
  2. With Cyrus Jones going late in the 2rd round, I started thinking how thin this year's draft is. I thought Cyrus was more of a late 3rd or 4th round pick. Other players were being taken earlier as well. For that reason, I didn't think it was a good idea to move back in the 2nd round, I thought this was the type of draft that you move up in and take a couple of good starters, like Ramsey and Miles Jack. If you check the roster and do the Math, you will find that with guys like Campanaro and many others coming back from injury, along with Whittle, Richardson and a few other vets being signed, there are not near enough spaces on this roster to add all of those draft picks, unless of course they are all fantastic and they can all make the team. Otherwise, I am guessing a lot of them will get cut and become wasted picks that we could have used to draft a few better players. This draft seemed to be more of a quality rather than quantity draft. I hope Ozzie didn't miss read it.
  3. Lets not rush to judgement yet. Yes Ozzie and the gang have not been doing so well the past several years, however, some studs have proven to be worth their draft pick. They include CJ Mosley, Jernigan, Crockett Gilmore, and Brandon Williams. In fact, the only team I would fire Ozzie and company for is the Jacksonville Jags front office. Wow did they have a great couple of nights!! I would take Jalen Ramsey, Miles Jack, and Yannick Ngakoue (Terps) over our 3 picks any day of the week, even if it costs us the 4th and 5th round picks we have. Its time for Elam, Breshad Perriman, Terrace Brooks, and Arthur Brown to step up this season. I also wonder why some teams are so much better than us in compiling more early round picks. We are good at having more 4th and 5th round pics over the years but some teams have 2 or 3 1st or 2nd round picks. I think its easier to hit on a good player if you have more picks at the top of the draft than trying to find a stud in the 4th round.
