  1. Why is Jalen Tabor not being looked at with our draft pick? Here's what Profootballfocus has to say about him. "The depth at cornerback bodes well for the Jets as they may dip into the pool multiple times, but they start with Tabor who has the size and playmaking ability that head coach Todd Bowles needs for his system. He’s had either an interception or a pass breakup on 26.5 percent of his targets, well above the national average, and he’s capable of playing tight man coverage or breaking on the ball quickly in “off” coverage. Tabor’s aggressive style can get him into trouble at times, but he may be the best playmaker in the loaded cornerback class." I don't really know much about him, but I still don't understand the dislike of him. I got that report of PFF's mock draft, here's the link if anyones interested. https://www.profootballfocus.com/draft-college-football-trubisky-bears-pff-2017-mock-draft/
  2. A couple of things we need to do in order to make a Super Bowl run next year. 1. Aquire interior offensive lineman either through the draft or FA 2. Draft a pass rusher with the our first pick and let him start and have Suggs play on passing downs only 3. Get our Safety position figured out. Either draft a Safety or get someone younger to replace Webb 4. Add more playmakers for Joe to throw to
  3. I could see Foster rotating behind both Orr and Mosley early in the game to keep both of them fresh for the 4th quarter. Also does anyone have any updates on Mosley's injury that he suffered against the Bengals?
  4. Yeah that game was an offensive failure all around. Even worse, was blaming Timmy Jernigan for fumbling the ball he recovered and tried to make a play with.
  5. Terrence West/Dixon did alright behind this offensive line, I think Zeke would have helped us win a few games where our run game was nonexistent. Like the Jets game.
  6. I know, but I really wish we could have somehow gotten him. Imagine how much that would have helped our offense this year.
  7. Stewart reminds me of a young Steve Smith with not only his aggressiveness while blocking but also his decent speed and ability to catch everything thrown his way.
  8. Two names that I haven't seen mentioned but would help the Ravens immensely are Malachi Dupre from LSU and Isaiah Ford from Virginia Tech. Dupre is a big bodied receiver 6'3 190 who could help with Joe out when Joe throws a jump ball, while Ford is 6'2 187 and a little bit faster who could be our new slot receiver.
  9. Tabor sounds like the next Richard Sherman to me
  10. One safety that keeps catching my eye is Josh Harvey-Clemons out of Louisville. He's 6'4 228 and has skills to help in the run game and decent cover skills. He reminds me of Deone Bucannon.
  11. If we are able to draft a good OLB this year then we he can become a good 3rd-down pass rusher for us.
  12. I remember him and his coaches at ASU not getting along, but I still think we should have gotten him instead of Tommy Streeter in the 6th round of that year. But hindsight is always easier than foresight. I just hope we don't make the same mistake again and let a player pass us because of character concerns.
  13. Oh I didn't know that. My mistake. The point I was trying to make is we let great players go by us because we are worried about their character. An excellent example would be of Burfict. He had absolutely no off-field incidents while his biggest red flags were too many personal fouls and a terrible interview at the combine. If we could have gotten him in the 6-7th round that year we would have an elite MLB for our team and I doubt he would act up because we have a strong locker room.
  14. "http://www.scout.com/nfl/story/81006-scouting-report-terrell-suggs" Heres the best link for his profile. I do think he had a problems which would probably get him on John's do not draft list.
  15. If our recent drafts are any indications, probably not. Apparently having "character concerns" is now a red flag for baltimore. Good thing Suggs was before John's time or else we would have never drafted him.
  16. Yeah hopefully if we get him we don't have a Paul Kruger type of mistake of trying to get him heavier than he should have been. Whatever happened to Za'darious (?) Smith? I remember him getting a few sacks last year and looking like a future impact player.
  17. I'm not too worried about him setting the edge in the run game, we still have Orr and Moseley who would help. I'd definitely prefer him be an elite pass rusher like Dumervil in his prime more so than say a Ryan Kerrigan who is an ok pass rusher but a great run defender.
  18. I was just going of what Google said. There have been many OLBs that have been drafted with skinny frames and have turned out solid. Chandler Jones and Barkievious(?) Mingo have turned out to be ok. But I'd try to have him gain 10-15 pounds and keep his explosiveness.
  19. Tim Williams is 6'3 236, if he can add about 15-20 pounds of muscle then he would be the right size and weight for us.
  20. Yeah with the way Stanley and Wagner played, its not a real priority but I say if he's there in the 6-7th rounds take a flyer on him and hope he can become a quality depth player. Besides, he can't be any worse than Jah Reid was for us.
  21. What would you think about drafting Dan Skipper from Arkansas? He's 6'9 and has a mean streak to him. I didn't know we didn't want him. I know just about every "expert" said we should get him because he can play both 4-3 and 3-4 defenses, and having Suggs and Dumervil train him would help him immensely.
  22. If we could get either Williams or Foster and try to snag Eddie Jackson, then I'd say we had a great draft.
  23. If we can get just one of those players that'd be great. I think we should get Williams with our 1st rounder, and not try and let him slip. We lost out on both Noah Spence and Kevin Dodd because we kept thinking they would slip to us and instead we draft KC
  24. I'm figuring they will go around late 2nd early 3rd, so if either of those two are within reasonable trade-up distance, then by all means we need to get them.
  25. I live in SEC country so unfortunately I have to watch a lot of Alabama games, and this year there are a ton of players on that defense that could really help us out.
