Didn't make anything up, just my opinion which I stated clearly.
Also, would a team let a player go (Not traded) if he was better than the guys they have? Just makes sense to me, not a fact, just makes sense to me. Powers is no longer on other teams depth charts so that's a moot point.

You're assuming there that no other team takes salary cap or anything into consideration. Otherwise we would never have allowed players like McPhee or Kruger, or Torrey go. Just because he was let go doesn't mean they wouldn't have confidently started him if he stayed.

Guess I should reformat mine so that it is easier to look at quickly: PS = Practice Squad

2: QB: Joe Flacco, Ryan Mallet (PS: 1: Jerrod Johnson)

3: RB: Justin Forsett, Javorius Allen, Kenneth Dixon (PS: 1: Trent Richardson)

    1: FB: Kyle Juszczyk

7: WR: Steve Smith Sr., Breshard Perriman, Mike Wallace, Kamar Aiken, Chris Moore, Kaelin Clay (KR/PR), Daniel Brown (PS: 1: Keenan Reynolds)

4: TE: Ben Watson, Crockett Gillmore, Maxx Williams, Darren Waller (most teams keep 4 TE's but only 3 active. Since we'll use Waller on ST I think we keep 4)

7: OL: Eugene Monroe, Ronnie Stanley, Rick Wagner, Jeremy Zuttah, Marshal Yanda, Ryan Jensen, John Urschel (PS: 3: Alex Lewis, Matt Skura, Anthony Fabiano/Stephan Nembot/DeOndre Wesley)

6: DL: Brandon Williams, Timmy Jernigan, Carl Davis, Brent Urban, Lawrence Guy, Bronson Kaufusi (PS: 1: Willie Henry)

8: LB: C.J. Mosley, Zach Orr, Albert McClellan, Arthur Brown, Elvis Dumervil, Terrell Suggs, Kamalei Correa, Za'Darius Smith (PS: 1: Matt Judon)

9: DB: Jimmy Smith, Shareece Wright, Kyle Arrington, Tavon Young, Will Davis, Eric Weddle, Lardarius Webb, Anthony Levine, Nick Perry (PS: 1: Maurice Canaday)

3: ST: Justin Tucker (K), Sam Koch (P), Morgan Cox (LS)

That leaves 3 open roster spots and 1 open practice squad spot. A lot could happen with them. This is the thinking behind my 1st draft anyway but I like what  @rmw10 had to say about Butler making it over Daniel Brown. I could see Henry and Judon taking two of the remaining roster spots and Elam clinging to life with the last one, and then that would leave 3 open slots on the practice squad.

Judon, Henry, Lewis, Reynolds will not make it to the practice squad that is why they will either make it on the roster or injured reserve - they are too interesting for other teams not to claim on waivers

Yea i agree for this last season about being on IR but it's still an overall issue with him.

he's a guy who seems to pick up muscle strains which is what the new injury fitness guy came in to try and reduce - not saying it'll magically improve but the ravens old fitness regime was a bit outdated and may not have actually been helping someone like camp

That's Camp's issue.  I would love to see what he can do in a full season with a defined role.

to be fair he shouldn't have ended up on injured reserve - that was a mistake by Oz for hoping that perriman would heal and so we lost camp for the season when he would have been back in a couple of weeks - yes it's an issue that he cannot stay healthy but if he'd been seen as a starter or 3rd string guy he would have finished the season - obviously if he gets injured in camp again then he's probably gone but he's just so good at finding space that it will be hard to cut him if he's healthy through camp even if he is "injury prone" - although the kinds of injuries he's been getting are supposedly what the new fitness guy is for

yea, he just always looks open on his tape. but from what ive read, he often wasnt drawing top cb's as they really spread the ball around and he didnt get a ton of targets, so wasnt a focus.

But he definitely has a knack for slowing down to set up the db, tracking and then changing gears to get right under the throw. Never looks like hes running top speed, but always seems to get separation.

On the contrary, he was matched up against Eli apple and William Jackson III and got behind them seemingly with ease

Prepare yourselves, Campanaro fanboys! Your boy is dunzo!

That may well be but its not for production reasons, it's purely for health reasons. He's consistently shown playmaking ability when he gets snaps. I think it's naive to think there's no place for him in the team and that his release is a done deal. It wouldn't surprise me if camp didn't make it to the 53 but I'll admit I'd still be disappointed because he's proven he can play. He just hasn't proven he can stay on the field. I certainly think that if camp has a good camp it will be really tough to cut him.

Oh by the way, our depth at every position group on offense is pretty awesome. I predict for WR that SSS, Aiken, Perriman, Wallace, Moore and either Matthews or Butler make the 53 man roster.

At RB, I think it will be Forsett, Buck, and Dixon, possibly Trent will make it, but I see those three all being versatile enough to thrive in Trestman's offense.

At TE we have a great problem, Maxx might make a leap or at least get more reps, Watson will be a leader and make catches, Gilmore will make it based on blocking and toughness. He looked great until injuries plagued him from his tough style of play. The wild card is Pitta, if he makes it through camp with no set backs then I see this being our 4, but if he doesn't then they might gamble on Boyle when he comes back.

Don't forget about camp, Waller and the guy we just drafted Reynolds

  8. this happens every year, a lot of the best guesses come out a few weeks before the draft because they are based on sound logic (and believe it or not, most GMs are pretty logical) and then the proliferation of rumours and smokescreens muddies the waters - if anything we'd all be better off ignoring most of the rumours and we'd probably still end up being just as right about who's drafting who

i would not be mad.. it all depends on the trade terms. I don't think we would trade down that far for only one 2nd round.

Give me 2 second, I don't care who is on the board I trade down.

especially this year, the last 2 years I would have stood pat if certain prospects made it, but there is no one I would mind trading away from in this class if we were offered 2 second rounders

Pauline is one of the few analysts I actually like when it comes to rumors.  He was fairly accurate last year.

he normally gets a high number of hits, although his actual ratio is not amazing - he gets about as many right as wrong albeit that's still pretty good when you throw around the number of rumours he does
